Geoffrey Edelstein, LCSW

Geoffrey Edelstein, LCSW, is a Licensed Certified Social Worker. His practice is informed by the latest neuro-cognitive sciences, emphasizing anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and other mental health conditions. In addition to working with children, adolescents, and adults, he also works with couples and families. Geoffrey also has experience working with LGBTQ+ clients. Geoffrey received his Master's in Social Work from New York University Silver School of Social Work. Before that, he earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature at Drew University. Geoffrey's experience includes Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, and psychodynamic psychotherapy, but his unique approach to therapy also integrates music, writing, drawing, and origami. In crafting a treatment plan, Geoffrey draws on his years of clinical experience from Four Winds Hospital. There, Geoffrey served as the Coordinator of Children's Services and facilitated care for children ages 8-13 in a Dialectical Behavior Therapy group setting. Geoffrey also worked with adults and adolescents in Four Winds' inpatient units. Prior to this, Geoffrey worked in respite services at Family Services of Westchester and the Federally Qualified Health Center of the Hudson Valley Cerebral Palsy Association. Geoffrey is committed to delivering quality mental health services to his patients and is passionate about helping them reach their goals.

Sarah Debrey, MD

Dr. Debrey is board-certified in adult psychiatry. Her approach is client-centered, individualized, and collaborative. She focuses on building a strong therapeutic alliance with each client to work towards achieving enhanced functioning and meaning in their lives. She works with individuals experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression and other mood concerns, bipolar spectrum illnesses, OCD, PTSD, anxiety disorders, and substance use disorders. Though she specializes in medication management, she believes in an integrative and comprehensive treatment program that incorporates multiple aspects of an individual's health and wellness. Along with discussing physical health concerns, diet, exercise, personal connection, and stress management, she incorporates various therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness, into her work. In some instances, Dr. Debrey may recommend more intensive psychotherapy with a collaborating therapist in order to help facilitate the best care possible. Dr. Debrey received her medical degree from Rush Medical College. She also holds a graduate degree in epidemiology from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. Following medical school, she completed her residency in psychiatry at Emory University School of Medicine. During her final year of residency, she served as chief resident at Grady Memorial Hospital. Prior to joining Talkiatry, Dr. Debrey was an assistant professor at Emory University Department of Psychiatry, where she worked as an attending psychiatrist at Grady Behavioral Health. While at Grady, Dr. Debrey worked primarily as a community psychiatrist with a focus on working with individuals experiencing psychosis. She also frequently worked on the inpatient psychiatry service at Grady. As an Emory faculty member, teaching and mentorship were an especially meaningful part of her work.‍

Dana-Jean La Haie, MD

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. La Haie is board certified in adult psychiatry and has been in practice for over 15 years.  She completed her residency at Banner Good Samaritan (now Banner University) Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona.  After completing her residency training, Dr. La Haie worked with the severely mentally ill population for several years, then transitioned to a private practice setting that offered the interventional options of transcranial magnetic stimulation and ketamine infusion.  Most recently, Dr. La Haie has worked at the Phoenix VA treating veterans, with focus on PTSD, depression and anxiety.  Dr. La Haie has held an academic appointment at the University of Arizona Medical School and has spent her professional career supervising/teaching medical students and psychiatry residents.

Dr. La Haie's practice focuses on medication management and providing psychoeducation to her patients. However, if indicated, Dr. La Haie may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.

Dr. La Haie has experience treating a large variety of mental health conditions across a variety of populations. Rayvonne Hood, LPC

Ray Hood is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with more than 19 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults. He earned his Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Pace University and has worked in a variety of settings, including schools, inpatient facilities, community-based programs, hospital emergency departments, and group homes. Ray’s extensive background allows him to provide compassionate, effective care across a broad range of mental health needs.

Ray values creating a warm and supportive environment where patients feel safe to share openly without fear of judgment. He believes in empowering individuals by identifying and building upon their strengths, while encouraging healthy lifestyle habits that promote long-term stability. Ray has expertise in addressing trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, ADHD, psychosis, and life transitions, tailoring his approach to meet each patient’s unique needs.

Ray collaborates with his clients to set clear treatment goals, ensuring that care feels personalized and effective. He integrates evidence-based practices with a strengths-focused approach, guiding individuals to recognize their resilience and develop practical tools for growth. Through consistent support and open communication, Ray helps patients build confidence, navigate challenges, and create meaningful changes in their lives.

Quentina Farrell, LCSW

Quentina Farrell, LCSW, has extensive experience working with adults in inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance use settings, as well as in residential treatment for eating disorders. She earned her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Augusta University and her Master’s in Social Work from Barry University.

Quentina creates a safe, nonjudgmental environment where patients are heard and validated, without needing to apologize for their pain or emotions. Her therapeutic approach is collaborative: you actively work together to achieve your mental health goals, with progress reflecting the effort you put in.

She begins by understanding your personal history to see how past experiences shape current behaviors and perspectives. Initial sessions focus on setting goals and identifying obstacles, followed by working together to overcome challenges and achieve those goals. This space encourages patients to express themselves authentically.

Matthew Green, LMHC

Matthew Green is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York with over seven years of experience in outpatient settings, both in person and virtual. He earned his master’s degree from St. Bonaventure University and began his career at Olean Counseling Center, where he also completed his internship. Licensed since 2022, Matthew brings compassion and clinical expertise to each session.

Matthew strives to create a warm, supportive, and open space where clients feel safe, heard, and respected. He believes trust is essential to meaningful therapeutic work and values open communication to set clear, collaborative goals. His approach is grounded in mutual respect and genuine connection.

In the first session, Matthew gathers a thorough history to understand the full scope of a client’s experiences and goals. He then creates an individualized treatment plan and focuses initially on coping strategies to support day-to-day functioning. As therapy progresses, the work shifts toward deeper issues and goal achievement.

Aileen Kim, MD

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. Aileen Kim approaches medication management with an emphasis on shared decision-making within safe, effective options, thorough counseling about what to expect in treatment, and giving attention to the concurrent use of non-medication modalities of treatment alongside optimizing medication. She is accustomed to working with people who have more than one diagnosis. She is skilled and experienced in de-prescribing (methodically streamlining the number of medications being taken) when needed. Patients can see Dr. Kim for medication management, therapy, or both. Dr. Kim is board certified in Adult Psychiatry. She graduated from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago in 2004. She was selected for the Health Professions Scholarship Program and completed her residency in 2008 at Naval Medical Center Portsmouth in Virginia, where she was chief resident. Following residency, she deployed to Kuwait as a medical officer. She has taught and supervised residents at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She left active duty in the Navy as a Lieutenant Commander. After becoming a civilian, she went into solo practice, then joined Potomac Behavioral Solutions in 2014, where she served as medical director. Dr. Kim is a past president of the Virginia Psychoanalytic Society. She also lectures advanced mental health professionals for Lingyu International Psychology Centre based in Toronto.
