Dr. Ali Imran is double board-certified in Adult Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He completed his psychiatry residency training at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He completed his Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Hofstra/Northwell Zucker Hillside Hospital. He has practiced in various settings over his career, including inpatient psychiatric units, adult and child outpatient treatment clinics, urgent care centers, and emergency psychiatric treatment centers. Dr. Imran has more than five years of experience treating patients with depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and learning disorders. Dr. Carmen Orellana is a Staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry who has been in practice for over 6 years, both in the U.S. and abroad. She is double board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. Dr. Orellana's practice focuses on medication management. She strives to provide exceptional medical care and has extensive experience in treating persons with diverse behavioral disorders and backgrounds. Dr.Orellana involves her patients in all decisions about their health, and provides care that is respectful of patient preferences, needs, and values. Typically, she would recommend evidence-based treatments to her patients and may, occasionally, believe that concurrent therapy is also needed. She would ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome. Dr.Orellana received her medical degree from Universidad Evang�lica de El Salvador. Dr. Orellana completed a residency in Psychiatry and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at the Southern University School of Medicine in Springfield, Illinois. After completing her training, Dr. Orellana remained in the school, where she worked as an Assistant Professor of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, supervising and teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, and treating patients with various psychiatric conditions. Dr. Orellana has experience in treating treatment-resistant mood disorders with electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).‍

Gary Etter, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist with experience across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings, including many years within the John Peter Smith Healthcare System. He has also practiced in federal correctional psychiatric settings and outpatient care through Tarrant County MHMR. Dr. Etter has been extensively involved in psychiatric education for medical students and psychiatry residents. He has participated in organized psychiatry for many years through the Texas Society of Psychiatric Physicians, serving on multiple committees and previously as President of the Texas Psychiatric Society. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed his psychiatry residency at Timberlawn Psychiatric Hospital in Dallas. He is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association.

Dr. Etter values ongoing patient input and strives to create a collaborative treatment environment where patients are actively involved in decision-making. He emphasizes a warm, supportive approach that helps patients feel heard, respected, and understood throughout their care.

Dr. Etter begins by developing a thorough understanding of each patient’s psychiatric, medical, family, developmental, and substance use history, while also exploring the patient’s concerns and goals. He then works collaboratively with the patient to develop an individualized treatment plan tailored to their unique needs and objectives.

Dr. Lundgren is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist who completed his residency at the University of Rochester. During his final year, he served as Chief Resident in both inpatient and emergency psychiatry, demonstrating leadership and clinical excellence in high-acuity settings.

Before beginning his medical journey, Dr. Lundgren earned a degree in philosophy from the University of Georgia. He went on to serve as a police officer and investigator near Atlanta, Georgia, for six years. These formative experiences gave him unique insight into the complex relationship between mental health and personal well-being, safety, and fulfillment. Motivated by this perspective, he pursued a degree in neuroscience at Columbia University, graduating with honors, before attending medical school.

Dr. Lundgren brings experience across outpatient, inpatient, and emergency psychiatric care. He emphasizes a strong therapeutic alliance, supportive psychotherapy, and evidence-based treatment. He is committed to understanding people within the context of their experiences and circumstances, recognizing how these factors may contribute to their mental health concerns and strengths.

Dr. Lundgren provides comprehensive psychiatric medication management and cares for individuals experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related disorders, and other mental health conditions. When beneficial, he may also recommend collaborating with a therapist to support a more holistic and effective treatment plan.

Mary Birse is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (ANCC) with over 20 years of nursing experience. She graduated magna cum laude with a BSN from Florida Atlantic University and earned her MSN from the University of Florida. She completed a Psychiatric NP Residency at the VA in Charleston, SC. Mary has worked in a variety of settings including the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center, the Palm Beach County Firefighter’s Clinic, various outpatient telehealth platforms, and a child and adolescent inpatient facility. She was also an adjunct professor at Palm Beach State College.

Mary believes in empowering patients through education and collaboration so they can play an active role in their mental health journey. She works to create a warm and welcoming space where patients feel safe, heard, and understood. Whether the treatment path includes therapy, medication, integrative approaches, or a combination, she ensures that the plan reflects the patient's needs and goals.

Mary takes a thorough and holistic approach to care. She spends time understanding each patient’s history and past treatments—what has or hasn’t worked—and listens carefully to their current concerns and future goals. By factoring in lifestyle and preferences, she works with patients to build thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

MassachusettsHolly James Corrigan, RN, MSN, PMHNP, is a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner committed to helping people navigate their mental health with skill and heart. She earned her BSN from Russell Sage College in 2009, her MSN from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute for Health Professions in 2016, and completed Psychiatry Redefined’s Fellowship in Functional and Integrated Psychiatry in 2025. Holly keeps current by attending top conferences, like the International Trauma Conference in Boston, ensuring she’s always at the forefront of her field.

Holly’s philosophy is simple yet powerful: care should fit the person, not just the diagnosis. She’s passionate about tackling complex issues—suicide prevention, C-PTSD, chronic depression, ASD, OCD—and advocating for underserved communities. For Holly, it’s about delivering real, meaningful support to those who need it most.

Her career began as a registered nurse in neurology, pediatrics, and emergency care, before she found her calling in psychiatry. Since then, she’s provided medication management and supportive psychotherapy in outpatient clinics and worked in inpatient units serving adults and adolescents.

Holly believes in patient-centered care based on the individual, rather than focusing only on a diagnostic algorithm. The first appointment will include a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and a discussion about what your goals of treatment are. Pharmacological and therapeutic recommendations are both important elements of the treatment plan. Follow up appointments will be more concise, but may include various therapeutic modalities, medication changes, and supportive psychotherapy.
