Zelimir Vukasin, MD

Dr. Zelimir Vukasin is an adult psychiatrist. He completed his psychiatric residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York. He also completed an internal medicine residency at New York Hospital, Medical Center of Queens. Dr. Vukasin received his medical degree from the University of Zagreb medical school in Croatia. He has practiced in various settings over his career, including inpatient psychiatry, long-term care, private practice, and non-profit outpatient psychiatric programs.

He has more than 32 years of experience providing patients with compassionate psychiatric care through medication management. He has received numerous awards and honors throughout the tri-state area, including the Top Doctor Award in 2018. In addition, Dr. Vukasin has held academic appointments and has published research findings on antipsychotic medications.

Dr. Vukasin enjoys treating patients with complex psychiatric conditions.
