I earned my medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed my psychiatry residency at UTHealth Science Center in Houston, where I later served as an Assistant Clinical Professor. Dr. Rayal Gorrepati, MD
I am double board certified in both adult and geriatric psychiatry. My practice focuses on medication management, which I typically offer in conjunction with supportive psychotherapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Occasionally, I may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best possible outcome. My primary clinical focus is treating adults with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
I received my medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. I completed my general psychiatry residency at Cooper University Hospital in New Jersey, then completed a Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the University of Hawaii. After completing training, I returned to my hometown of Chicago and began working at a Federally Qualified Health Center, providing care to an underserved low-income population for nearly 12 years. While at the clinic, I treated a wide range of diagnoses, the most common ones being depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.

Dr. Rebecca Crosbie, MD
My practice focuses on medication management, and I typically offer medication management combined with supportive therapy or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in 30-minute follow-up visits. If I feel you would benefit from working with a dedicated talk therapist, I may encourage you to pursue this or refer you in order to achieve the best outcome. My approach is always to meet the patient where they are and educate and enable patients to make good choices about treatment that are in line with their personal preferences and values.
I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and have been practicing in outpatient psychiatry for nearly 7 years. I am a graduate of Michigan State College of Human Medicine and completed my psychiatry residency at Pine Rest/Michigan State University in Grand Rapids, MI. I have previously worked as an outpatient psychiatrist and in tele-psychiatry. I have a lot of experience treating patients with a broad array of mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, and ADHD. I also treat combined mental health diagnoses such as ADHD plus another diagnosis. I also have a lot of experience working with patients who identify as LGBTQI+.

His goal is to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, empowered, and actively involved in decisions about their care and personal growth.
Dr. Gomez begins each new patient relationship with a thorough evaluation to understand the individual's symptoms, history, strengths, and goals. He uses this information to develop personalized treatment recommendations and a care plan tailored to the patient's needs. Throughout treatment, he works closely with patients to monitor progress, adjust strategies when needed, and support them in achieving meaningful, lasting improvements in their well-being.

Dr. Richard Hess, MD
My philosophy of practice is to collaborate with patients to meet their specific needs and make an impact in various stages of their lives. I have more than 24 years of experience providing patients with compassionate psychiatric care for depressive and bipolar disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and dementia. I use pharmacotherapy as well as supportive psychotherapy. I may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.
I am double board-certified in Adult and Geriatric Psychiatry. I completed my psychiatry internship and residency training at St. Vincent's Hospital and Medical Center in New York City, and then completed a geriatric psychiatry fellowship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center. I have practiced inpatient psychiatry at the Long Island College Hospital, NYU Langone Brooklyn, and Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center. I have also worked in emergency rooms, day hospitals, and consultation-liaison settings, as well as seeing geriatric outpatients at a naturally-occurring retirement community (NORC) on the Lower East Side of Manhattan. I have taught St. George's University medical students during their clinical rotations in psychiatry.

Dr. Richard Mullin, MD
I emphasize the importance of truly listening, so patients feel seen and heard. I work collaboratively with my patients to identify their main concerns and to build a treatment plan that feels right for them. I believe treatment should be a shared process in which the patient is empowered and supported in their mental health journey. Taking a "less is more" approach to medication, I focus on minimizing prescriptions while still addressing all of a patient's needs. My goal is to help patients eventually rely more on therapeutic skills than medication. I view treatment as a partnership, balancing my expertise in psychiatry with each patient's lived experience.
I bring over a decade of experience in outpatient psychiatric care, with prior roles providing treatment to juveniles in detention and adults in jail and prison systems across West Virginia. I completed my medical degree at the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine at Marshall University and trained in psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry at West Virginia University.

Dr. Richard Rise, MD
I take an individual approach to treating others, recognizing individuals as unique and worthy of love, respect, and acceptance. I am compassionate, non-judgmental, and truly enjoy helping others. I tend to gravitate towards a combination of medication management (if indicated) and psychotherapy where I treat all facets of the individual. I believe that we are all unique and should be treated as such.
Over the past 30 years I have created a successful career as a psychiatrist, participating in a variety of treatment settings and developing a wealth of experience in prescribing medications, providing therapy, counseling, and even coaching. I spent most of my career in private practice until deciding to retire in 2014. After this I spent the next 3 1/2 years reading, studying, traveling, and spending time with my loved ones. In 2018 I was offered a position as a consultant overseeing Ketamine infusion therapy for treating treatment-resistant depression. When the pandemic hit in March of 2020, I was asked to assist a local psychiatric hospital deal with the unique and often deadly consequences of the virus. This proved to be a wonderful opportunity for personal growth and to improve the quality of life of many others. After working at the hospital for 2 years, I joined Talkiatry to continue providing high-quality psychiatric care to others in a very loving, supportive, creative, and collaborative environment.

Richard Scheuerle III, MD
Dr. Richard Scheuerle earned his bachelor's degree from Auburn University, his medical degree from the University of South Florida, and completed his psychiatry residency at Naval Medical Center San Diego. He then served four years as an active-duty Navy psychiatrist, including deployment to a combat theater. He has cared for active-duty service members, veterans, immigrants, and LGBTQIA+ individuals, with extensive experience treating sexual trauma, religious trauma, combat trauma, and narcissistic abuse.
Dr. Scheuerle creates a welcoming space for those who have felt misunderstood or overlooked. He believes patients should set the pace for sharing and values natural conversation as a path to understanding. His approach focuses on bringing unconscious patterns into awareness to support meaningful, lasting change.
Dr. Scheuerle begins by exploring each patient's reasons for seeking care in a warm, conversational setting rather than a rigid question-and-answer format. Both initial visits and follow-ups are designed to provide the time, space, and support patients need to feel comfortable discussing their concerns.

Dr. Richard Shehane, MD
I focus on two main approaches to mental health treatment: medication management and psychotherapy. Appointments focus on a mix of interactions aimed at tailoring each patient's specific medication needs as well as promoting mental health wellness through different types of evidence-based therapy techniques including mindfulness, CBT, CPT, and psychodynamic psychotherapy. I work together with patients to develop a plan that fits each patient's individual needs. Initial appointments focus on identifying and treating primary concerns, and then later appointments center on building upon the therapeutic relationship to increase self-awareness, promote emotional insight, and secure lasting positive mental health changes.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist that specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorders, and ADHD. I have also worked extensively with patients that have experienced sexual trauma in their past and patients struggling with substance and alcohol use addictions. I completed medical school at the University of Nevada School of Medicine and then went on to complete psychiatry residency training at Naval Medical Center San Diego.
