Deora Johnson, DNP, PMHNP is a board certified Adult Psychiatric Nurse practitioner with 24 years of experience. He has a passion for providing clients with a holistic approach to mental health care which includes both pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions. He works with adult and senior populations focusing on assessment, diagnosis and treatment of mental health issues. He works closely with you to help guide you through the process of understanding and deciding on the most effective interventions/medication management options for your diagnosis. Supportive therapy, Solution Focused therapy, or Motivational Interviewing are integral components of medication management appointments with Deora. Deora completed the Master of Science in Nursing degree at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. He also completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama. He has experience in treating patients in a variety of outpatient and inpatient settings. His areas of specialty include treatment of Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD and Insomnia. His doctoral research focus was nonpharmacologic interventions for insomnia in depressed patients. Deora has experience working with the military veteran population. His clinical experience with the VA Outpatient Clinic in Baltimore, Maryland focused on treating PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, and Bipolar Disorders in returning veterans from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. His clinical case load also included veterans from Vietnam and Korean war eras. Medication management is an important adjunct to a treatment plan, which also includes therapy.

Mr. Seals has a person-centered approach to therapy along with incorporating CBT, DBT, Adlerian Theory, and elements of trauma therapy as well as elements of sex therapy.

Keri Lemmond, MD

Dr. Keri Lemmond is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience. Her practice focuses on medication management and ongoing supportive therapy during a 30-minute follow-up visit. Dr. Lemmond is a graduate of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and completed her residency training in adult psychiatry at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She previously held a faculty position with the University of Colorado School of Medicine and was a staff member at the Colorado State University Health Network. ‍In addition to her work with young adults in the college setting, she has had additional experience working with adults with co-occurring ADHD, substance use, PTSD, OCD, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Dr. Lemmond has been recognized for her approachable, empathic style when meeting individuals for the first time and throughout their work together. When necessary, she will recommend specific therapy modalities with a collaborating therapist for the best outcome. Alexandra Dunn, MD

Dr. Alexandra Dunn is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who completed her medical training at the University of California Irvine School of Medicine. She then moved to New York to complete her psychiatric residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. During training, Dr. Dunn gained extensive clinical experience in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings, allowing her the opportunity to treat patients of all ages and backgrounds. In addition, she co-led a mindfulness group at the outpatient clinic, worked with students at Baruch College, and rotated with the Assertive Community Treatment team at MSBI. Ultimately, Dr. Dunn chose outpatient care, focusing on treating patients with mood and anxiety disorders. While her practice primarily emphasizes medication management, she also incorporates supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques in her sessions with patients. If appropriate, Dr. Dunn will refer you for psychotherapy and collaborate with your therapist to support your care. She looks forward to meeting and working with you to help you feel better.

Reaghan Hicks, MD

Dr. Reaghan Hicks is a double board-certified psychiatrist in General and Addiction Psychiatry. She completed her undergraduate training at The College of Charleston followed by medical school at The University of South Carolina School of Medicine. Dr. Hicks completed Residency in General Psychiatry at The University of Florida College of Medicine in Jacksonville followed by Fellowship in Addiction Psychiatry at The Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Hicks is an experienced clinician that specializes in treating individuals with a variety of diagnoses including adjustment disorders, depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use disorders.‍She has an approachable style and values building rapport with her patients. She believes it is a privilege to be a part of someone's journey towards recovery and wellness. Dr. Hicks aims to meet each patient where they are while maintaining a nonjudgemental, patient-centered, and evidenced-based treatment approach. Dr. Hicks provides supportive psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral skills, and utilizes motivational interviewing to meet the needs of her patients. Madison Perington, DO

Dr. Perington is a Staff Psychiatrist with Talkiatry. She previously served in the US Air Force, where she completed her residency training in psychiatry (Lackland AFB) and was the medical director for a small-sized mental health clinic (Hill AFB). Dr. Perington uses a person-centered approach to tailor treatment to the individual, with an emphasis on shared decision making. She prefers to focus on psychotherapy and behavioral interventions as a primary part of the treatment plan, in addition to any indicated medication.
