Dr. Sara Mateo holds the position of staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is a board-eligible adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Mateo completed her Medical degree at the University of Benghazi- Faculty of Medicine and finished General Psychiatry Residency training at Tower Health/DrexelPhoenixville Hospital. Throughout her career, Dr. Mateo has actively contributed to various leadership roles and committees, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical education and promoting diversity in the field. During her training, she generously shared her knowledge through educational presentations and lectures, fostering the growth of fellow trainees and medical students. Dr. Mateo is dedicated to creating a therapeutic environment characterized by warmth, empathy, and nonjudgmental support. Mahsa Mousavi, MD

Dr. Mousavi holds the position of attending psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is Board certified in adult psychiatry and has been practicing for over 6 years. Dr. Mousavi's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow up visits. Dr. Mousavi may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome. She has completed her residency at Westchester Medical Center/New York Medical College. She has experience of working in private practice at the Institute for Family Therapy in Miami. She has also worked as an outpatient psychiatrist at Montefiore in NY and INOVA outpatient clinic in Virginia.

Swarnalata Debbarma, MD

Dr. Debbarma is double board certified in General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Dr.Debbarma is also certified in mindfulness therapy. Prior to joining Talkiatry, Dr. Debbarma was working as an attending psychiatrist and teaching faculty in an Academic hospital. She has experience of managing diverse patients ranging from chronic severe mental illness , dual diagnosis patients, crisis management and high functioning outpatients population.

Dr. Debbarma is an International medical graduate from India with post graduate training in Psychiatry and Family Medicine.  

To better understand USA public health and preventive care, Dr. Debbarma pursued advanced degree in Master of Public Health from Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia. Due to interest in global health, Dr. Debbarma worked as a post-doctoral fellow in Global Health at Rutgers university. Dr. Debbarma completed psychiatry residency from Cooper University Hospital and served as a chief resident.

Dr. Debbarma has diverse experiences in health care. Prior to moving to USA, she worked as a medical officer in government hospital system. Dr. Debbarma has years of experience in treating patients from different cultural and religious background.

As an Individual Dr. Debbarma is intrigued by human mind and behavior that’s why she choose to specialize in psychiatry. She focuses on "wholeness" by understanding the whole person not just their symptoms.

Her treatment approach includes bio-psycho-sociocultural model and patient centered care.  She offers medication management and supportive therapy. Based on clinical need Dr. Debbarma also incorporate CBT, Mindfulness, MI.

Nina Jacobs, MD

Background and credentials

Dr. Nina Jacobs is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in child, adolescent, and adult psychiatry with over 20 years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine and completed her adult, child, and adolescent psychiatry training at NYU School of Medicine. Additionally, she has specialized training in psychodynamic psychotherapy from the New York Psychoanalytic Institute. Before joining Talkiatry, she served as Chief of Adult Behavioral Health at a busy urban community health clinic.

Dr. Jacobs believes that understanding and compassion are fundamental to effective psychiatric care. She provides engaged, patient-centered treatment, focusing on reducing symptoms and restoring well-being. Her approach includes comprehensive evaluations, thoughtful medication management, supportive therapy, and the development of stress management skills. She treats youth ages 13-17 and adults with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, and other mental health conditions. For adolescent patients, she includes parental involvement during a portion of appointments to discuss progress and treatment plans.

Ana Castro, LMHC

Staff Licensed Mental Health Counselor

Ana Castro, LMHC received a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Queens College, City University of New York. She completed training at F.E.G.S and has worked in community mental health and outpatient hospital-based settings. Ana has 7 years of experience working with individuals as well as with children and families treating anxiety, depression, family and relationship issues, and other mental health issues. Ana uses methods from psychoanalysis, CBT, DBT, along with light supportive therapy in order to provide a person-centered approach. She began by working at New York Psychotherapy and Counseling Center, working with individuals, as well as children and families in a high-risk area, providing family therapy, psychodynamic and behavioral therapy, and assisting with the coordination of care with outside agencies. Ana has worked at St. Joseph's Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic treating patients with various psychiatric illnesses. She has also worked at St. Vincent's- Westchester Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic, providing intake, diagnosis, and individual therapy to a population ranging from adolescents to late adults. Ana continues to work towards expanding her knowledge of evidence-based approaches in order to provide the best outcomes.

Christina Delos Reyes, MD

Christina Delos Reyes, MD, earned her medical degree from Northeast Ohio Medical University and completed Psychiatry Residency and Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center. She has practiced in inpatient, intensive outpatient, and outpatient settings and has subspecialty training in Addiction Psychiatry, Addiction Medicine, and treatment of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. She is also a Gestalt Professional Certified Coach through the Gestalt Institute of Cleveland.

Dr. Delos Reyes values honesty and authenticity and believes meaningful progress comes from sharing what is truly happening in one’s life. She brings her full humanity to treatment and honors the role of spirituality, recognizing body, mind, and spirit as essential to healing. She embraces creativity and encourages openness to new perspectives and solutions.
