Tobias Murphy, MD

Dr. Pereira is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who is dedicated to providing compassionate care for a wide range of mental health concerns. He received his Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University and his medical degree from The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, where he graduated with the Department of Psychiatry's award of distinction. He went on to complete his psychiatric residency training at Northwell Health's Zucker Hillside Hospital, with a specialization in the assessment and treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder and related conditions. Dr. Pereira's clinical approach emphasizes building trust with his patients and working collaboratively to develop an individualized treatment plan. He uses medication management along with cognitive behavioral therapy, exposure and response prevention, psychodynamic psychotherapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, and supportive therapy as needed. His practice treats a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, family and relationship struggles, and other mental health issues. He has been trained in a wide range of settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency departments, and behavioral health crisis centers. He also has experience teaching and supervising medical students and psychiatry residents.

Dr. Parrish is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with extensive experience in community psychiatry, academic psychiatry, veterans' mental health, and correctional psychiatry. She completed medical school and adult psychiatry residency at University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and a Master of Public Health from University of Virginia. She graduated with honors from University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication.  

Dr. Parrish is a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha national medical honor society. She has also produced over 20 peer-reviewed papers and posters.  

Dr. Parrish has worked with geriatric patients, individuals who identify as LGBTQ+, patients with serious mental illness, women with perinatal and postpartum needs, individuals with cancer, patients with co-occurring substance use disorders, and combat veterans.  

Dr. Parrish takes a patient-centered collaborative approach to tailor treatment plans to meet each individual's goals. Her technique promotes overall wellness. Utilizing her expertise in diagnosis and pharmacology, she optimizes care, monitors progress and ensures treatment success. Dr. Parrish incorporates behavioral activation techniques to promote improved mental health and overall well-being, with the ultimate goal of helping patients feel their best.

Dr. Jacqueline Barrett is Board Certified in Adult and Child Psychiatry and Board Eligible in Forensic Psychiatry. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing at Florida International University and her medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. She completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry at Henry Ford Hospital and went on to complete fellowships in Child and Forensic Psychiatry at the University of Michigan/Center for Forensic Psychiatry. Dr. Barrett has extensive experience working in a variety of healthcare settings, including community mental health centers, inpatient and outpatient programs, and most recently at the Miami Veterans Affairs.

Dr. Barrett believes in a patient-centered approach that combines careful assessment, evidence-based treatment, and individualized care. She works with each patient to create a personalized plan that addresses both immediate needs and long-term goals. By integrating psychiatric expertise with compassion and collaboration, she empowers patients to take an active role in their mental health journey.

Getting to know meDr. Kishan Peddanna is a board-certified general psychiatrist with experience treating patients across the lifespan. He attended The Ohio State University for his undergraduate studies and earned his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Peddanna completed his residency in General Psychiatry at The Ohio State University and a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Peddanna values continuity of care and collaboration, working with patients toward long-term improvements while building meaningful connections. His approach is grounded in shared decision-making, ensuring treatment plans align with each patient’s goals. He has extensive experience managing conditions such as ADHD, mood disorders, and anxiety.

Dr. Peddanna’s practice focuses on medication management complemented by supportive psychotherapy. He uses evidence-based assessments and interventions to guide individualized treatment planning, fostering a care experience that is both effective and patient-centered.

Mekayla Davila is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) who has been in practice for 6 years. She has experience working with many diverse populations and mental health conditions. Mekayla attended graduate school at Teachers College Columbia University where she received an M.A. and M.Ed. in Mental Health Counseling. Her education and experience span both psychology and criminal justice fields as she has always been interested in their intersectionality. In previous roles, Mekayla has worked mostly with children, adolescents, and adults of minority populations, with focuses on treating anxiety, depression, trauma, and other stressor-related disorders. Mekayla strongly believes that every therapeutic interaction is unique, so she uses an eclectic approach, with foundations in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Psychodynamic Therapy, to tailor treatment to the specific needs of each individual. Mekayla puts emphasis on the therapeutic relationship and finds it important to provide a safe and comforting environment for all.

Dr. Kyle Baird, DO, earned his medical degree from A.T. Still University – Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. He has practiced in diverse academic outpatient settings, using a multidisciplinary approach to understand clients and develop personalized treatment plans. He also served as medical director of a large academic outpatient clinic, overseeing psychiatrists, residents, psychology students, and advanced practitioners.

Dr. Baird values a holistic perspective in care, emphasizing empathy, understanding, and patient-centered treatment. He fosters open, clear communication and collaborates with clients to explore the causes of symptoms, as well as the strengths and behaviors that support resiliency and well-being. He also considers daily routines and life contexts that influence mental health.

During the initial appointment, Dr. Baird conducts a thorough evaluation of concerns, history, and functioning, completing any necessary screenings. He then develops a personalized treatment plan collaboratively, reviewing potential therapeutic interventions. Follow-up visits typically combine medication management, if appropriate, with brief psychotherapeutic support, adjusting intervals based on client needs, monitoring, and treatment progress.
