Biography
Grace Kim is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) providing outpatient psychiatric care for adults. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from UCLA and Master of Science in Nursing from the Yale School of Nursing. Her clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, trauma, eating disorders, and mood disorders. Her experiences as a loved one, patient, psychiatric nurse, and provider have shaped her commitment to compassionate, trauma-informed care.
Grace believes care should feel like a conversation, not a checklist. She creates a safe, respectful environment where patients feel heard and empowered. She views each person as a whole individual with unique experiences, strengths, and values. Through open communication and shared decision-making, she helps patients understand their options and find an approach that supports their goals.
Grace begins by understanding each patient’s story, including their concerns, history, lifestyle, and goals. She collaborates on individualized treatment plans that may include medication management, therapy recommendations, lifestyle strategies, and care coordination when appropriate. Follow-up visits focus on progress, challenges, and adjusting treatment to meet each patient’s evolving needs.
