Abby Reineck, MD
I currently serve as an outpatient child and adolescent psychiatrist. My practice is primarily medication-management services, offered in conjunction with either supportive or eclectic therapy. Follow-up appointments average 30 minutes, but may be more or less. Occasionally, I believe the addition of a therapist is needed and will request that you bring a therapist into your care team. This will be asked of individuals if I believe it will lead to an improved clinical outcome.
I received my medical degree from Boonshoft School of Medicine at Wright State University, located in Dayton, OH. I completed my psychiatry residency and child-and-adolescent fellowship at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, in Hanover, NH. I completed my undergraduate studies at Ohio University.
After completing my training, I moved to Brattleboro, VT, where I became an attending psychiatrist at The Brattleboro Retreat, working on both the child and adolescent inpatient units. The Brattleboro Retreat's location was such that it served a large number of patients from nearby states, including New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New York, while also serving as the only psychiatric inpatient facility for children and adolescents in the entire state of Vermont. I also worked as the lead psychiatrist on the inpatient, adult, dual-diagnosis unit, which provided care for individuals struggling with addiction and mental-health related issues, some of whom required medically supervised detoxification.
After roughly five years, I moved from Vermont to Erie, PA, where I began working at a residential treatment facility for child and adolescent patients who required care in a highly supervised and highly structured setting. I also began serving as a child and adolescent psychiatrist for patients enrolled in a school-based partial-hospitalization program. I gradually transitioned from these roles into strictly outpatient work, treating child, adolescent, and adult patients in Butler, PA, before eventually narrowing my scope of practice to providing psychiatric treatment for only outpatient children and adolescents, out of facilities located in Erie and Meadville, PA.
While I have experience treating a wide variety of patients, my primary focus has been treating children and adolescents with a vast array of presenting concerns.

Alejandra Cattan, MD
I believe in a biopsychosocial model to address my patients' issues. I provide supportive psychotherapy and apply psychodynamic psychotherapy skills to discover the root of their suffering, in conjunction with medication management resources. My areas of expertise include medication management, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, PTSD, and substance use disorders.
I am a bilingual psychiatrist who delivers care in English and Spanish. I went to medical school in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and completed my psychiatry residency at Bronx Care Health System. I then completed additional training in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at NY Medical College Psychoanalytic Institute. After completing residency, I worked as an attending psychiatrist in New York and later transitioned to dedicated outpatient work.

Alexandra Blaes, MD
My practice focuses on medication management. I work to foster a safe and collaborative space in which patients can address psychiatric illness and other barriers holding them back from the lives they want to lead. Typically, I offer appointments for medication management coupled with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute sessions. When I feel that additional therapy is needed, I will suggest inviting a therapist to join the team for additional support and guidance. I welcome collaborations with other clinicians, be they therapists or other physicians caring for my patients. I strive to build strong therapeutic relationships that help patients grow and meet their goals, whatever their situation, challenge, or life stage. I welcome patients from all walks of life and cultural backgrounds and am LGBTQ+ friendly.
I am a board-certified psychiatrist. Before joining Talkiatry, I practiced consult-liaison psychiatry, seeing medically ill patients with psychiatric problems at the Department of Veterans Affairs, where I also treated veterans in nursing homes. I graduated from New York University with a B.A. in philosophy and photography and worked in nonprofit marketing in New York before deciding to pursue a life in medicine. Following a post-baccalaureate, pre-medical program at Columbia University, I completed medical school at The University of Maryland, followed by a psychiatry residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. While at Johns Hopkins, I mastered clinical assessment and treatment of general psychiatric problems. I also received specialized training in eating disorders, addiction, reproductive psychiatry, chronic pain, and geriatric psychiatry, an interest I pursued further with a fellowship at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. In fellowship and in my subsequent experience at the VA, I developed expertise in caring for the difficulties that can accompany aging, including depression, anxiety, and memory loss, as well as the stress of medical illness. In addition to my background in geriatrics, I have experience working with peripartum women and enjoy working with patients navigating major life changes.

Antonio Ramirez Capo, MD
I focus on compassionate, evidence-based care that integrates psychotherapy and psychotropic medications to promote recovery and growth. My collaborative and respectful style ensures patients feel heard while working toward meaningful goals. I emphasize setting clear expectations from the start to foster confidence and engagement. With my background in consultation-liaison psychiatry, I bring expertise in caring for individuals managing psychiatric conditions alongside significant medical illness.
The first appointment is a comprehensive evaluation, during which I carefully explore a patient's history, conditions, and symptoms. Based on this, I develop a personalized treatment plan and review it collaboratively, so expectations are clear. Future visits focus on monitoring progress, adjusting the plan as needed, and integrating both psychotherapy and medication management to best support the patient's needs and long-term growth.
I earned my medical degree from Ponce Health Sciences University, where I also served as Chief Resident in Psychiatry. I completed residency training at Ponce Health Sciences University and the U.S. Veterans Health Administration, Caribbean Healthcare System, followed by a Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry at Montefiore Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine. I am board-certified in both Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. I have served as Director of Psychiatry at the Roberto Clemente Center and Clinical Assistant Professor at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. I am bilingual in Spanish and bicultural, with published research in cultural psychiatry and stress biology, and have been recognized for teaching and leadership.

April Blackwood, MD
My goal is to create a safe, judgment-free space where you will feel comfortable and heard. I understand that having a strong therapeutic alliance is equally as important as accurate diagnosing and medication management. I strongly believe in a patient-centered model, in which medical decision-making is driven by patient preferences. My job is to empower patients to make informed decisions regarding their mental health. While working together, I will get to know you and will be open to you sharing as much or as little about yourself as you would like.
I was born and raised in Charleston, SC. I attended the College of Charleston for undergraduate studies, where I double majored in Psychology and Spanish. I then completed medical school, General Psychiatry Residency, and Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina. I am the first member of my family to become a physician. My passion for mental health and my desire to help others are what paved the way for me to become a well-trained and highly motivated psychiatrist.

Bryan Morales, MD
I am a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to the bio-psycho-sociocultural model of care. My clinical experience encompasses treating attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), obsessive compulsive disorder, anxiety and panic disorders, mood disorders, adjustment disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
My practice synthesizes active listening, supportive psychotherapy techniques, and evidence-based medication management with monitoring, delivered through 1-hour initial consultations and 30-minute follow-up appointments. I believe strongly in patient education and developing comprehensive treatment plans focused on relief, resilience and confident authenticity. Recognizing the value of comprehensive care, I actively encourage and coordinate with therapists when patients can benefit from additional time and frequency of visits. I check the State Prescription Drug Monitoring Program Database for all patients prescribed controlled medications prior to ordering or refilling controlled medications.
I earned my medical degree from the East Carolina Brody School of Medicine as a Brody Scholar and subsequently completed my psychiatry residency at Jackson Health System / University of Miami. Throughout my clinical training and practice across three distinct hospital systems, I have treated diverse populations, including but not limited to high-functioning professionals, active duty military and veterans, human trafficking survivors, and patients in grief and mourning. Ultimately, I seek to understand, appreciate, and facilitate for every patient through a patient, engaging and collaborative therapeutic alliance.

Celine Corona, MD
My approach is largely psychodynamic, with an emphasis on understanding the psychological roots of behavior patterns and how past experiences shape present functioning. I strive to create a warm, calm, and supportive environment where patients feel validated and genuinely cared for. I view each patient holistically, considering lifestyle factors alongside emotional and psychological concerns, and often incorporate psychodynamic therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based practices.
I earned my medical degree from the University of Santo Tomas in the Philippines and completed my psychiatry residency at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC, followed by a child and adolescent psychiatry fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in partnership with BronxCare Health System in New York. I am double board certified in adult psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. After training, I joined a group private practice serving patients of diverse ages and backgrounds and continue to occasionally oversee fellows and their cases at an outpatient clinic at BronxCare.
During the initial intake, I carefully explore the patient's presenting concerns and conduct a comprehensive review of medical, psychiatric, and psychosocial history, including developmental history for child patients. I discuss my assessment openly, value patient input, and collaborate closely with each individual to develop a personalized treatment plan aligned with their goals and unique circumstances.

Charles Stanfa, DO
I try to take a person-centered approach to psychiatry. I spend time getting to know each person and take a collaborative approach to medication management while providing supportive therapy. I believe that the relationship is one of the most important aspects of treatment. I am open to working with most diagnoses including Mood Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, PTSD, ADHD, Personality Disorders, and others, and I will work with each person to develop a treatment plan that works for them.
