I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist and have specialized in Addiction Psychiatry. I have a special interest in treating individuals having a substance use history and struggling to quit, and have expertise in treating patients with a dual diagnosis of substance use with other psychiatric conditions. I also have an interest in treating patients with mood, anxiety, and psychotic disorders.

I completed my residency at the WVU campus of Charleston, WV, and completed the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at UPMC/Western Psychiatry Institute in Pittsburgh, PA. I previously worked as an Assistant Professor at WVU of Charleston, where I was involved in working with residents in inpatient and outpatient settings, provided psychiatric consult services to hospitalized patients, and was part of the Outpatient Comprehensive Opioid Treatment Program where I provided Medication Assisted Treatment for patients with substance use disorders.

I primarily do medication management, in addition to providing some supportive therapy and motivational interviewing in my 30-minute follow-up appointments. I may also suggest bringing in a therapist to add to your care if clinically necessary.

My practice focuses on medication management and supportive psychotherapy in typically 30-minute follow-up visits. At times, additional psychotherapy is needed and a therapist may be added to provide the best outcome.

I received my medical degree from San Juan Bautista, School of Medicine in Puerto Rico and continued my medical education at Jackson Memorial Hospital & University of Miami Hospital for my 4-year psychiatry residency training program. After completing my training, I worked at the Miami Veterans Affairs Hospital and then the Orlando Veterans Affairs Hospital in the primary care mental health integrated model.

Dr. Grant DeFrancisco attended medical school at the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. He began residency training in Family Medicine and completed his Psychiatry residency at the University of South Alabama. He has experience across multiple practice settings, including inpatient and outpatient psychiatry, addiction treatment, crisis intervention, and community health centers.

Dr. DeFrancisco uses an open-ended, conversational approach to help patients feel heard, welcomed, and comfortable seeking care. His goal is to understand not only what brings someone to treatment, but also the whole person and the factors that shape their well-being.

Grant Gideon, MD has experience practicing in outpatient, inpatient, and emergency settings with diverse patient populations. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and completed his psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University Health Shreveport, where he also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Gideon values open communication and collaborative decision-making to ensure treatment goals are shared. He takes time to understand each patient's story, not just their symptoms or diagnosis, and prioritizes building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and consistency.

Dr. Grant Zelin is a psychiatrist who completed residency training at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in New York. He has experience in outpatient clinics, emergency psychiatry, and telepsychiatry, treating adults with anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma-related disorders, OCD, and other psychiatric conditions. On the intake appointment, I will take time to understand your concern, provide an assessment, discuss treatment options, and collaboratively decide on the most appropriate action. Follow-up appointments are usually 30 minutes and include a psychotherapy modality.
