Dr. Aguilar served as Clinic Chief for Intensive Outpatient Services at Walter Reed from 2019 to 2021 and later held leadership roles including Director of Behavioral Health, Department Head, and outpatient psychiatrist at Naval Hospital Beaufort. She has 15 years of active-duty service as a psychiatrist in the U.S. Navy and currently serves in the Navy Reserve.

Her background includes roles as a clinical educator, clinical practice manager, emergency room nurse, and telehealth psychiatric provider.
