DEBRA SOLOMON, MD
Dr. Debra Solomon holds a B.A. from Harvard and an M.D. from Tufts University. She completed psychiatry residencies at Mt. Sinai and Brown and is board certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. With four decades of experience across private practice, mental health centers, recovery clinics, courts, inpatient, consultation/liaison, intensive outpatient, partial hospital, ECT, leadership, teaching, academic medicine, integrative care, and primary care consultation, she values one-on-one patient care. Dr. Solomon takes a holistic, patient-centered approach, seeing each individual as uniquely complex and lovable. She enjoys rural life, hiking, nature, cooking, and cherishes family, including her spouse of 40 years, two adult children, and many “fur kids.”
Dr. Solomon fosters a warm, collaborative environment, guiding patients in understanding and managing challenges while navigating toward their highest functioning and personal goals. She partners with patients to identify practical tools—like the “daily gear”—to support well-being and help them lead their best life.
Initial visits, about an hour, focus on getting acquainted, gathering information, and exploring factors contributing to distress or disruption. Together, she and the patient discuss treatment options and next steps. Follow-up schedules and content are tailored to each patient’s evolving needs, ensuring individualized, flexible care.
