Justin Stone is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience in both outpatient and inpatient psychiatric settings, including in-person and telehealth care. He completed his undergraduate and master’s programs at Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. Justin is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care that addresses the whole person—mind, body, and environment.

Justin works collaboratively with patients to reach personal goals and support a more fulfilled life. He strives to create an open, judgment-free relationship where patients can be completely themselves. His aim is to provide a safe space for vulnerability without fear of judgment, fostering trust and partnership in the therapeutic process.

Patients can expect a thorough initial evaluation to ensure the correct diagnosis is addressed from the start. Justin prioritizes safety and evidence-based best practices while tailoring treatment plans to individual goals. Dr. Caitlin Tillberg (she/her) is a board-certified psychiatrist. She has a BA in musicology and cognitive science from Oberlin College, an MD from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut, and completed general adult psychiatry residency at Duke University. Dr. Tillberg practices patient-centered and trauma-informed care, valuing patient autonomy and collaborative decision-making, acknowledging the burden many people carry from intersecting oppressions. She believes therapy is important � often equally important as medication, or more � and will work together with you to make a realistic treatment plan that will fit into your life. Dr. Tillberg also has a niche working with people with complicated relationships with their bodies, whether due to disordered eating, gender dysphoria, chronic illness/disability, or trauma. She welcomes LGBTQ+ patients, including trans and non-binary adults. She also enjoys working with patients with OCD, as well as autistic/neurodivergent adults (including those seeking adult autism evaluation). Please note Talkiatry is most appropriate for autistic patients with Level 1 (or case-by-case Level 2) support needs and who are verbal. Regarding eating disorders: Please note that for patient safety, per Talkiatry policy, Dr. Tillberg is unable to work with patients with current active anorexia nervosa or bulimia nervosa (or significant relapse in the last 6 months), or with patients requiring current regular medical or lab monitoring for complications of binge-eating disorder or ARFID. Bariatric surgery patients are welcome if medically stable. Patients with current disordered eating that does not rise to the level of a formal diagnosis of anorexia or bulimia, or with a past history of anorexia or bulimia in sustained remission, will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at the first appointment. Dr. Denise Zusman is a board-certified psychiatrist with over 15 years of experience providing care in acute and outpatient settings. She earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her General Adult Psychiatry residency at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Zusman has practiced in psychiatric emergency services and outpatient clinics including The Permanente Medical Group, San Francisco Department of Public Health, and The Tenderloin Outpatient Clinic. She is credentialed in New Zealand and has provided public mental health and early psychosis care internationally. She also offers services in Spanish when requested.

Dr. Zusman works collaboratively with patients to establish clear treatment goals from the beginning. She values open communication and prioritizes a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive approach. Her style is warm and supportive, creating a space where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in their care.

Dr. Zusman begins with a comprehensive evaluation to understand each patient’s history, concerns, and goals. She develops individualized, holistic treatment plans that may include medication and non-medication options, guided by evidence-based best practices. Ongoing collaboration and open communication are central to her approach.

Dr. Saria El Haddad is double boarded in general psychiatry and addiction psychiatry. She previously held a leadership role of medical director for the dual diagnosis partial hospitalization program at the Brigham and Women's Faulkner hospital where she helped create and establish this program, and also worked as an outpatient addiction psychiatrist. She has been involved in teaching and has maintained an academic affiliation with the Harvard Medical School. In addition, she has appeared in numerous professional publications and authored several research papers.  

Dr. El Haddad received her medical degree from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon and completed her psychiatry residency program at the University of Virginia. She completed a fellowship in addiction psychiatry through Boston University after which she started working at the Brigham and Women's hospital. Dr. El Haddad's approach to treatment focuses on adopting a holistic approach through behavioral change, medication management, and brief psychotherapy.

Heidi is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with 15 years of professional experience teens, adults, and seniors with concerns and challenges related to divorce, family conflict, parenting challenges, dysfunctional relationships, low self-esteem, sexuality, and addiction. Heidi earned her Master's degree in Human Services, Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy from Capella University.

Heidi uses theories that include Relational, Motivational Interviewing, Solution Focused Brief (SFBT), Humanistic / Rogerian, Psychoanalytic / Psychodynamic, Mindfulness-Based (MBCT), Attachment-Based, Adlerian, Positive Psychology, Person-Centered, Christian Counseling, Family Systems, CBT / Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Trained, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Narrative, Emotionally Focused, DBT / Dialectical Behavior Therapy. Our first session will be about getting to know each other and developing a sense of understanding and connection. We will establish rapport and develop a picture of your personal and family history. Heidi strives to represent authentic self, work affectively, giving assignments, providing tools and teach techniques.

Heidi enjoys working with married couples and individuals experiencing pressing issues who are wanting to quickly move towards their goals and are driven towards change. Her approach to therapy is collaborative and flexible; Heidi strives to encourage her clients to improve their relationships and personal experiences by being their authentic selves. She can help you navigate life transitions, heal from traumatic experiences, and improve communication skills. Heidi seeks to provide a warm, trusting, nonjudgmental environment where you'll know that you are deeply listened to, and can safely and freely discuss your challenges, concerns, and vulnerabilities. Dr. Nathan Schulz attended the Ohio State University College of Medicine where he received his degree before completing a residency in psychiatry at the University of Illinois, Chicago. After several years working with veterans at the Jesse Brown VA in Chicago, he returned to his home state of Iowa in 2022. Since then, he has continued to work with a wide variety of clients and conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings, including at the University of Iowa and Clive Behavioral Health hospital.

Dr. Schulz values open, honest, and ongoing dialogue about how mental health treatment can improve wellbeing and lead to healing. Over time, he tailors treatment recommendations based on individual needs, which may include medication, therapy, lifestyle changes, or other approaches. He avoids a one-size-fits-all model and creates an environment where patients feel respected, understood, and supported as unique individuals.

In the first meeting, Dr. Schulz works to understand each patient’s goals, experiences, and preferences. Some arrive knowing what they want, while others are new to exploring mental health challenges. His goal is to meet patients where they are and adjust treatment focus as needs evolve. He emphasizes collaborative decision-making, clearly discussing treatment options, pros and cons, and next steps, while ensuring patients feel informed and empowered throughout care.
