Shujah Choudhry, DO

Dr. Maryrose Bauschka, MD, earned her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine and completed her adult psychiatry residency at the University of Utah. She worked as an inpatient psychiatrist at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute and later at Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center in Chicago and Denver, where she served as Medical Director. She has held faculty roles at Rush Medical College, the University of Utah, and the University of Colorado, and is a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS).

Dr. Bauschka begins by understanding each patient’s history, values, and goals. She partners with patients to develop individualized plans that include pharmacological and non-pharmacological strategies, with a focus on safe, thoughtful psychotropic prescribing.

Dr. Benjamin Joe Chambers is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in the treatment of adults. He has been practicing for 7 years. His practice focuses on medication management and brief psychotherapy for patients struggling with a wide array of psychological problems. For patients who need more intensive psychotherapy, Dr. Chambers works closely with a team of therapists who can step in and provide additional interventions. Dr. Chambers attended medical school at Texas A&M College of Medicine and completed his residency training at the University of Colorado in Denver. Having completed training, he returned to Austin, TX, and was an inpatient psychiatrist and Assistant Professor for Dell Medical School. He was extensively involved in resident physician education and helped run the medical school's primary inpatient mental-health training site throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. He was known amongst residents for his strong focus on utilizing psychotherapy to better understand and treat patients regardless of the treatment setting. Dr. Chambers treats adult patients, with a special focus on mood disorders, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal conflict.‍

Dr. Anangamanjari Pedapudi earned her medical degree and completed her residency at the University of South Florida. She completed a fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the University of Colorado and is double board-certified in General Psychiatry and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Pedapudi has experience in inpatient settings and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including co-morbid substance use disorders.

Dr. Pedapudi values a holistic, evidence-based approach to psychiatric care. She considers the whole individual, including their environment, to provide comprehensive, personalized treatment that supports both mental and emotional well-being.

She begins with a thorough history to understand each patient’s concerns and goals. Dr. Pedapudi develops individualized treatment plans with regular follow-up, integrating psychotherapy and medication management to provide coordinated, collaborative mental health care.

Dr. Liss was born and raised in a neighborhood in the North Bronx. He attended Queens College, CUNY where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Hebrew. He completed Medical school at NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, NY and thereafter was accepted to NUMC for psychiatry residency training. For his final year of residency training Dr. Liss was appointed to the position of Chief Resident for Academics & Research for the Psychiatry residency program at NUMC, Nassau University Medical Center. He received two awards during his residency training, including the Acute Mental Health Services Award and the Ambulatory Mental Health Services Award at the end of his 2nd and 3rd years of residency training, respectively. At NUMC, Dr. Liss underwent a rigorous training in a multitude of psychiatric settings and has experience with managing a wide array of psychiatric areas of treatment including mood/bipolar disorders, ADHD, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, as well as the intersection of medical disorders and psychiatric disorders. For his outpatient practice, Dr. Liss anticipates focusing on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, personality disorders, and family dynamics .Dr. Liss' practice focuses on a duality of treatment strategies: specifically psychotropic medication management in conjunction with non-pharmacologic treatment modalities including supportive psychotherapy, emotive supportive psychotherapy, as well as personalized variants of psychodynamic/interpersonal psychotherapy. Additionally, Dr. Liss has experience facilitating the coordination of psychosocial treatments in underserved populations.‍

Dr. Megan Marumoto provides holistic and personalized care as an integrative psychiatrist board-certified in General Psychiatry, Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, Integrative Medicine, and Lifestyle Medicine. She takes a root cause approach to treating mental health conditions as a certified Functional Medicine practitioner.

Dr. Marumoto is specialized to treat children, adolescents, and young adults, with expertise in a wide range of mental health conditions including ADHD, anxiety, depression, phobias, OCD, and trauma-related conditions. Patients may expect a comprehensive assessment with evidence-based treatment focusing on nutrition and healthy lifestyle interventions as well as medication management in 20–30-minute sessions. She enjoys working collaboratively with therapists and health coaches to achieve the best outcomes. She also provides supportive therapy and other therapies when indicated.

She received her medical degree from the John A Burns School of Medicine and completed her Psychiatry Residency and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Hawaii. Wishing to provide comprehensive care beyond medication management and therapy, Dr. Marumoto completed a second fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of Arizona. She has over 20 years of clinical experience working with military and civilian populations.

Dr. Meyen graduated from the University of Missouri School of Medicine and completed her psychiatry residency training at Harvard South Shore. She completed a fellowship in geriatric psychiatry through Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA. Dr. Meyen was employed by the Department of Veteran Affairs for 10 years prior to joining Talkiatry. She is board certified in both adult and geriatric psychiatry. She specializes in depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, and many other mental health disorders.

Dr. Meyen is a Harvard trained, board certified, adult psychiatrist who specializes in creating individually tailored treatment plans for patients using high quality evidence and up-to-date clinical guidelines. She has a passion for shared decision making, which means empathetic listening to each patient, and making a customized plan that supports their individual values and preferences.

Dr. Kristin Ratz is a Board-Certified psychiatrist who is an expert in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of mental, emotional and behavioral disorders. A California local, Dr. Ratz obtained her undergraduate education at University of California, Davis, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Human Development. She then attended medical school at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, obtaining her Medical Doctorate. Following this, she completed her adult psychiatry residency training at the distinguished University of California, Irvine. Dr. Ratz has worked in a diverse range of healthcare settings, including county and community clinics, and is very experienced in telepsychiatry. She pays close attention to not only an individual's emotional state, but also their physical, spiritual, and social well-being, in order to provide her patients with exceptional holistic care.

Dr. Wasser is a staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry, dedicated to providing compassionate and effective care through telepsychiatry. He completed his undergraduate studies at Moravian College in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where he focused on Neuroscience and Pre-Medical studies. Subsequently, he pursued his medical degree at Rocky Vista University in Parker, Colorado before completing his psychiatry residency at HCA Aurora in Aurora, Colorado. After receiving his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, he completed his medical degree at Oakland University William Beaumont in Rochester, MI. He is a graduate of the Adult Psychiatry Residency Program at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, MI. As a testament to Dr. Taquee's desire to help patients reach their full potential, he has also completed a psychotherapy fellowship through the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute. Dr. Taquee believes that every patient brings their own mosaic of experiences embedded in a unique story. He understands that building a strong therapeutic relationship through empathy, compassion, trust, and respect is essential. He enjoys taking time to understand his patient's goals, offer psychoeducation, and create a collaborative plan for treatment with the patient. He believes in a holistic approach to mental health treatment, which includes medication management, supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, as well as mind-body medicine techniques. He completed his medical training at the Robert Larner, M.D. College of Medicine at The University of Vermont and returned to Colorado for his psychiatry residency at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. While in residency, he specialized in the Psychotherapy Scholars Program and has since gained four years of experience treating psychiatric conditions through telehealth.

Dr. Kristina Eipl is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate education at Johns Hopkins University, where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor’s in neuroscience. Dr. Eipl later attended medical school at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Her interest in neuroscience, combined with a passion for the humanistic side of medicine, led her to pursue a psychiatry residency at NYU. There, she gained experience working with a diverse patient population. After completing residency in 2018, Dr. Eipl chose to pursue private practice to allow her to spend more time with patients and build on her interest in psychotherapy. She spent over 6 years in solo and group private practice in Los Angeles. She is committed to working with insurance-based practices as she is passionate about providing affordable access to quality healthcare.
 
Dr. Eipl takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to both medication management and psychotherapy. She enjoys utilizing various forms of psychotherapy to empower individuals to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives. Dr. Troy Grantham is a board-certified staff psychiatrist who treats adult patients. A former engineer, Dr. Grantham has developed a passion for guiding patients along the road to recovery. He completed his undergraduate studies at The University of Texas at Austin and later completed medical school and residency in General Psychiatry at The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. Dr. Grantham's practice focuses on medication management. He utilizes a systematic approach to ensure diagnoses are accurate and treatment plans are optimized to each individual patient. His approach is also holistic in nature, often incorporating therapy and lifestyle modification into the treatment plan. Dr. Grantham employs multiple therapeutic approaches in his practice depending on the needs of the patient including supportive therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). He places great emphasis on psychoeducation so that patients are aware of the nature and prognosis of their conditions as well as the treatment options available. When multiple treatment options are reasonable, Dr. Grantham takes patient preference into account, offering flexibility to the patient experience. He treats a variety of psychiatric disorders with a particular focus on mood disorders, anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorders, and trauma-related disorders.

Please note: Dr. Grantham does not prescribe long-term, daily benzodiazepine medications, however he is happy to help you taper off of these medications and transition to a safer, long-term medication regimen.

Dr. Jiang is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. His practice focuses on medication management and supportive therapy. His major goal is for treatment to be patient centered, with a focus on high quality, evidence-based care in the safest and most meaningful way. Dr. Jiang completed an undergraduate degree at the University of California, Los Angeles. He received his medical degree from Oakland University William Beaumont, School of Medicine. He then completed his psychiatry residency at Loyola University Medical Center. Dr. Jiang's areas of interest include depression and post-traumatic stress disorder.‍

Dr. Daniel Weiss is a double board-certified psychiatrist in adult and forensic psychiatry. His expertise is in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions, including depression and bipolar spectrum disorders, anxiety, stress and adjustment problems, maternal mental health, OCD, and other disorders. In addition, he has extensive experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, college and graduate students, creative professionals, and a range of working adults. Through a supportive psychopharmacologic approach, Dr. Weiss strives to provide a comfortable experience in which doctor and patient work to understand the presenting problems, reduce symptoms, and optimize functioning. In addition, Dr. Weiss encourages concurrent therapy and will communicate with that provider in a collaborative care arrangement. Dr. Weiss previously served as an attending psychiatrist on the staff of Montefiore Medical Center and was formerly a faculty member at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Before joining Talkiatry, Dr. Weiss spent a decade working at The New School as the university's staff psychiatrist.

Dr. Andrews is a board-certified psychiatrist who received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Texas Health – San Antonio. Since graduating from medical school, Dr. Andrews served in the United States Air Force for over a decade, first as a Flight Surgeon and later as the Medical Director for mental health and substance abuse clinics overseas. In these roles, he provided medical support to Air Force personnel, their family members, and veterans. These invaluable experiences in high-pressure environments strengthened his desire to support the psychological challenges of individuals in a myriad of situations.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Andrews remains active in continuing education, ensuring the latest scientific advancements inform his practice. With a background grounded in medical excellence, military service, and clinical psychiatry, he brings a steady, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence to the healing process.

Dr. Jen Wygant is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in adult psychiatry. She completed her residency training in general adult psychiatry at the University of Michigan and received her medical degree from Rocky Vista University College of Osteopathic Medicine. However, she took a non-traditional path to medical school. She earned her undergraduate degree in nursing at Northern Michigan University where she also did Army ROTC and competed on their cross-country ski team. After graduation, she went on to work as a nurse in the Army and compete on the US National Biathlon Team.

During her training, Dr. Wygant gained extensive experience treating a wide range of diagnoses with particular emphasis on PTSD, anxiety and depression in diverse populations, including college students, LGBTQIA+ individuals, perinatal individuals, Veterans and those with socioeconomic disadvantages.

Through her work as an Army nurse, lifestyle as an elite level athlete, and training as an Osteopathic physician she has developed a holistic and compassionate approach to providing care as well as an understanding of challenges unique to athletes and Service members. She integrates multiple types of therapy into her medication management appointments and collaborates with patients to form an individualized and empowering care plan that aligns with their goals and priorities.

She completed her psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University Our Lady of the Lake Psychiatry Residency Program. After completing residency, she worked in an outpatient setting and provided consultation liaison services at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital. Moreover, she held volunteer academic positions supervising and instructing residents and medical students. She has experience treating culturally diverse patient populations with a variety of mental health conditions. Dr. Jaffarzad primarily offers medication management in conjunction with supportive therapy during follow-up visits. She values the importance of open communication and a strong doctor-patient therapeutic alliance.

Dr. Priya Mukhopadhyay is a board certified adult psychiatrist. She completed her psychiatry residency training at Richmond University Medical Center in NYC. She has practiced in various settings over her career including inpatient, outpatient, comprehensive psychiatric emergency program (CPEP), and the consult liaison service to name a few. She has experience providing patients with compassionate psychiatric care treating patients with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, PTSD, family and relationship issues, as well as other mental health issues. Dr. Priya's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. The philosophy of her practice is to collaborate with patients to meet their specific needs and make an impact in various stages of their lives. Growing up in NYC as a South Asian American female in medicine, Dr. Priya strongly values diversity and compassion and strives to make her patients feel heard, validated, and comfortable at all times.

She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed her psychiatry residency at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, HI. After her training, she was stationed at Fort Hood, TX, where she worked as a staff physician in the inpatient unit at Carl R. Darnall Army Medical Center and later became the inpatient medical director. She subsequently transitioned to outpatient care, serving as a staff physician and later as clinic chief in the outpatient embedded behavioral health clinics. She continued working as a staff physician after leaving the military.

Dr. Michael Padua is a graduate from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and completed his psychiatry residency training at Loyola University Medical Center at Maywood, IL. He is trained and experienced in diagnosing and treating various psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and bipolar disorder with a focus on posttraumatic stress disorder, women's mental health, and cultural psychiatry. He combines his clinical expertise with a passion for working with underserved populations and the LGBTQIA+ population to address mental health needs across various communities. Dr. Padua has experience working in a variety of settings, which includes working as an outpatient psychiatrist at a federally qualified health center (FQHC), and as a correctional psychiatrist at the Washoe County Sherriff's Office in Reno, NV. In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Padua has also participated in research and education, and has co-authored peer-reviewed articles in the fields of psychiatry and biology.

Dr. Zezetko completed her medical training at the University of Georgia/August University Medical Partnership. While in medical school, she received a Master of Business Administration at the University of Georgia. She then moved to North Carolina to complete her psychiatric residency training at the Brody School of Medicine/ECU Health Medical Center. During her training, she gained extensive clinical experience in working with adults and veterans in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and emergency settings. She also served as a chief resident of the psychiatry program and published several case studies.

Dr. Zezetko relies on evidence-based treatments to guide pharmacotherapy decisions. In addition to medication management, she also incorporates supportive psychotherapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy techniques in her visits with her patients. When appropriate, Dr. Zezetko will refer patients for further psychotherapy and collaborate with therapists to provide more comprehensive care. Dr. Zezetko takes great pride in forming meaningful connections with her patients and listening to their concerns.

Dr. Zezetko will conduct a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation and take time to understand patients’ individual concerns, mental health goals, and history. Dr. Zezetko believes in building a strong therapeutic relationship that empowers patients to join in a collaborative discussion for optimizing their individual treatment plans and reaching their defined goals.

Dr. Kodali is an adult psychiatrist who completed his psychiatry residency training at Trinity Health Hospital in Livonia, MI, where he was selected to be chief resident. Prior to this, he received his undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Neurology and Anthropology from Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD and received his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI. He completed the psychodynamic psychotherapy fellowship from the Michigan Psychoanalytic Institute and is adept at incorporating psychotherapy principles in all patient care encounters. He provides psychiatric medication management as well as a combination of therapeutic interventions such as supportive, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and lifestyle interventions. Dr. Kodali is trained in treating multiple disorders and diagnoses including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) as well as others. He has experience treating adult patients of all ages in multiple treatment settings including outpatient clinics, inpatient hospitals, and emergency departments.

Dr. Lavin is board certified in adult psychiatry. She has been practicing psychiatry for more than 40 years. Prior to joining Talkiatry she practiced at the University of Denver Health and Counseling center for 20 years where she treated undergraduate and graduate students. She also worked at a clinic providing care to indigent patients which was also a training site for graduate psychology students. She has supervised and taught psychiatric residents and psychology trainees. She has taught seminars in differential diagnosis, alternative therapies and psychopharmacology.

She has a strong interest in functional medicine and alternative therapies. Dr. Lavin focuses on providing a comprehensive medical assessment, medication management, psychoeducation, wellness and alternative therapies. Her approach is collaborative. Dr. Lavin completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Rochester. She earned her MD from Cornell University Medical College in New York City.

Her psychiatrist residency was at the University of Boston Medical Center. After training, Dr Lavin held clinical and administrative positions at Kaiser Permanente in Denver, CO and the Harvard Community Health Plan in Braintree, Massachusetts

Dr. Laura Obler is board-certified in adult psychiatry. She received her medical degree from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles, California, where she stayed to complete her psychiatry residency at the UCLA Semel Institute for Neuroscience. During residency she received specialized training in reproductive psychiatry (the treatment of women who are considering pregnancy or are pregnant or postpartum) and acted as Chief Resident of the Women's Life Center at UCLA. Dr. Obler has experience working with a diverse group of patients. She has previously worked in community clinics in the greater Los Angeles area and as a staff psychiatrist at UCLA. She prefers a holistic approach to psychiatric treatment and therefore uses a combination of medication management and talking therapies to treat patients. Techniques she may utilize include cognitive behavioral therapy, experiential psychodynamic therapy, mentalization based therapy, and medical hypnosis.

Dr. Mary O'Malley is board certified in Adult Psychiatry and Sleep Medicine. She received her medical degree from Weill Cornell Medical School and PhD in Neurobiology from The Rockefeller University. She completed her Psychiatry residency and Sleep Medicine Fellowship training at the New York University Medical Center. In her psychiatric practice, Dr. O'Malley uses an integrative approach to health, combining evidence-based concepts in neurobiology with psychological, social and spiritual/existential worldviews to understand and treat every patient. Her primary practice is medication management. She also integrates elements of psychotherapy into her work, typically within 30-minute follow-up visits. In addition to medication and psychotherapy, she incorporates wellness tools into visits, such as mindfulness exercises and sleep management strategies. If she believes that additional psychotherapy is needed, she will recommend that you add a therapist to your care team. Dr. O'Malley has extensive experience working with people from many stages of life, with diverse world views and cultural backgrounds. She has always had an inclusive practice and welcomes people who identify as LBGTQIA+. As part of her own life path she became an Interfaith Minister and enjoys including spirituality and the supportive role it can play in healing for her patients. Her primary focus is working with adults with mood and anxiety disorders, trauma symptoms, ADHD, and problems with sleep. She enjoys working with people facing life transitions, especially older adults and women who are struggling with mental health challenges related to pregnancy and post-partum health. Prior to joining Talkiatry, Dr. O'Malley was working at Hartford Healthcare with adults in intensive outpatient programs and at Hackensack Meridian Health outpatient clinics. She was the medical director of the Consultation Liaison Service at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, and an assistant professor at UMass Medical School. She has published and presented widely on topics related to Wellness in Psychiatry, Ethics and Sleep Medicine. She is an advocate for finding your voice in medical decision-making and enjoys using sound healing for relaxation and stress management.

Dr. Mary Lou Gutierrez is board-certified in both Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and General Psychiatry, with over 20 years of clinical experience. She earned her M.D. from Loyola University Medical Center, where she also completed her residency in Adult Psychiatry. She pursued fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Northwestern University’s Children’s Memorial Hospital. Her past roles include Medical Director for Compass Health Center’s Under 18 Program and Attending Psychiatrist at Loyola. She has been recognized as a “Top Doctor” in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry by US News and World Report and Negocios Now.

Dr. Gutierrez fosters a warm, collaborative environment where patients and families feel supported and understood. She emphasizes open communication and works closely with patients to define meaningful, realistic treatment goals. Her holistic, family-centered approach integrates medication management, therapy, and psychoeducation with a deep commitment to cultural sensitivity and compassionate care.

Dr. Gutierrez begins by learning each patient’s personal story, clinical history, and goals through a comprehensive evaluation. She creates individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each child’s unique needs and family context. She continuously collaborates with patients, families, and care teams to ensure treatment remains effective, combining psychotherapy, medication management, and coordination with other providers and resources.

Dr. Cindy Rossetti is board certified in Adult Psychiatry. She has been practicing for over 13 years. Dr. Rossetti received her medical degree from The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock. She completed her general psychiatry residency at the University of Kentucky in Lexington where she was chief resident. She worked at Eastern State Hospital in Kentucky treating severe and persistent mental illness. She spent most of her post-graduate time providing outpatient care in a rural and underserved area of Arkansas. Dr. Rossetti offers both medication management and therapy together in 30- and 45-minute follow-up visits. Dr. Rossetti enjoys treating adults of all ages. Her areas of interest include ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and Autism in adults. She enjoys addressing areas such as personal growth, stress management and self-care. Her treatment is patient-centered and geared toward individual healing and wellness.

Dr. Bardugon is a board-eligible psychiatrist who specializes in the treatment of adults. He has experience in treating patients with various forms of depression and anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, and substance use disorders. He seeks to provide a safe, non-judgmental, gender affirming space for patients as they strive to lead a happier, more contented life. After a pediatrics residency, Dr Bardugon worked for 13 years as a pediatric ER physician. His interest in psychiatry was piqued during this time as he witnessed the emergence of a child and adolescent mental health crisis. While ultimately deciding to focus his efforts on the treatment of adults, Dr Bardugon is keenly aware of the influence of child development and family systems on the behavioral health of adults. Dr Bardugon employs a holistic, multimodal treatment approach. Aiming to treat the whole person, he stresses the importance of nutrition, exercise, and sleep. Dr Bardugon believes an informed patient actively engaged in decision making surrounding treatment has the best chance of effecting lasting change. Believing in the synergistic effect of talk therapy and medication, he incorporates one or more talk therapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy, and supportive and psychodynamic psychotherapies into most sessions. He often recommends formal participation in some form of talk therapy and is happy to collaborate with other providers.

Dr. Sumbal Akhter graduated from the University of Nevada at Las Vegas Psychiatry residency program. She has a wide range of experience, having worked at the VA, consult liaison psychiatry, and multiple inpatient/outpatient settings. She provides supportive psychotherapy and takes an integrative approach to her practice.

Dr. Solomon is a double board-certified psychiatrist in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He completed medical school in his home state at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine, where the focus on mind-body connection now fits seamlessly into holistically minded patient care. Dr. Solomon then completed General Psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at the University of Colorado, where he was Chief Fellow focused on improving resident/fellow experiences and ensuring all medical students took a firm grasp of psychiatry into their futures. Having worked with patients across their lifespans allows Dr. Solomon to take a well-rounded approach to identifying issues with his patients, especially in family settings. Prior to joining Talkiatry, Dr. Solomon worked in a residential treatment center for teenagers with eating disorders, gaining significant experience with challenging patients and their families. Dr. Solomon uses a variety of therapeutic approaches (supportive, CBT, DBT, psychodynamic) in combination with medication management to help patients identify and develop treatment plans towards their own unique goals. Dr. Stephanie Negrey is a board certified psychiatrist. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and History at Fordham University in the Bronx and then attended medical school at the Renaissance School of Medicine at Stony Brook University. She completed her residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio as a member of the United States Air Force. Dr. Negrey served as an active duty psychiatrist; her duties included medical director of the mental health clinic at a special operations base as well as a program manager for the Air Force substance use program.

Dr. Negrey has experience treating a wide range of ages and diagnoses, with particular emphasis on personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and post traumatic stress disorder. She integrates supportive and psychodynamic therapies into her medication management appointments with a goal of achieving improvement through a holistic approach. Dr. Negrey will work with patients to reach their goals for their mental health care while also providing a compassionate and collaborative environment.

Dr. Georgia Gaveras holds the position of Co-Founder and Chief Medical Officer at Talkiatry. She is triple board-certified in child and adolescent psychiatry, adult psychiatry, and addiction medicine. She has been practicing for over 18 years. Dr. Gaveras's practice focuses on medication management. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with supportive or emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. However, occasionally Dr. Gaveras may believe that additional therapy is also needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome. She received her medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, ME, before moving back to NY to complete her residency at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center and a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital. After completing training, she remained and worked with dually-diagnosed adolescents at the Comprehensive Rehabilitation and Education Service (CARES) before becoming the Director of Training and Education for the Mount Sinai St. Luke's and Roosevelt Hospitals. She was then the associate director of child and adolescent emergency psychiatry at Cohen Children's Medical Center before becoming the Director of the Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (CPEP) at Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn. Dr. Gaveras has held academic appointments at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine, Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine, Zucker School of Medicine, and SUNY Downstate Medical College. In addition, she has appeared in numerous professional publications and authored several research papers. In addition to general, child, and adolescent psychiatry, Dr. Gaveras is also board-certified in addiction medicine and trained in the Eating Disorders, Compulsions and Addictions Service (EDCAS) program at the William Alanson White Institute. She completed her undergraduate studies at New York University. While having treated a wide variety of patients, her primary clinical focus has been in treating adolescents and young adults with co-occurring substance use disorders.

Dr. Leslie Chavez is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with a diverse background in clinical and academic medicine. She completed her medical school and residency at the University of New Mexico, where she later served as a psychiatrist and assistant professor, treating high-need patients and teaching residents and medical students. During the pandemic, she transitioned to telehealth and has been dedicated to this field for the past four years. Dr. Chavez is known for making her patients feel seen and heard, using both medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Dr. Chavez began her academic journey as a physics major at UNM and then studied biophysics at the University of San Diego, California. During her postdoctoral fellowship at Los Alamos National Laboratories, she was inspired by presentations about professionals working with patients in African countries, which sparked her interest in medicine. During this time, her father died of cancer, and she saw the impact of mental health therapy on his quality of life, further solidifying her motivation to attend medical school. Witnessing the profound impact of mental health on her patients and family, she specialized in psychiatry. Dr. Chavez is a seasoned psychopharmacologist and emphasizes the importance of nutrition, exercise, and community in mental health. She enjoys all aspects of medicine and combines her extensive knowledge with a patient-centered approach.

Dr. Scot McKay is board certified in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry. He graduated medical school from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC. He completed his residency and child/adolescent fellowship trainings at the University of Colorado - Anschutz Medical Center in Denver, CO. Previously, he has worked on the inpatient and partial hospitalization child/adolescent psychiatric units at Children's Hospital Colorado as well as in the school-based health clinics through Denver Health in partnership with Denver Public Schools. He has also worked in community mental health at the Mental Health Cooperative clinics throughout the Middle Tennessee region. He most recently joined a private practice before joining Talkiatry. He has been named to the Nashville Lifestyles Magazine's Top Doctors list in 2022, 2023, and 2024. He is a fellow of the American Psychiatric Association, and a member of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. McKay enjoys working with patients going through life transitions such as high school to college and college to adult life. He believes it is important to understand the whole person (mind, body, and spirit) when treating them. He treats people struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar, and ADHD, as well as trouble with relationships and family conflict. Dr. McKay provides both medication management and therapy. He believes that medication is just one of the items in a psychiatrist's toolbox and that therapy is equally important as medication.

Dr. Kevin DiCesare is a board-certified psychiatrist, treating adults. He received his undergraduate degree at Harvard University, his medical degree at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, and then went on to train at Maine Medical Center for his psychiatric residency. He has 22 years of expertise in diagnosing and treating psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, Bipolar spectrum disorders, adjustment problems, ADHD and other disorders. He is well versed in psychopharmacological interventions, but is a proponent of patients also being active in psychotherapy whenever appropriate. He prides himself in collaboratively arriving at treatment decisions with his patients, and taking the time to listen to their concerns and answer their questions.

Dr. DiCesare has worked in various settings, including community mental health centers and large hospital systems, with experience in inpatient, outpatient, and consultative roles. Prior to joining Talkiatry, he most recently served as an attending psychiatrist on the staff of Southern New Hampshire Health System, where he provided consultative care to referrals made from primary care providers and various specialists.

Dr. Mott grew up in southeastern Idaho. She earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology from the University of California at Berkeley in 2009, and her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree in 2014 from the University of Chicago. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Utah in 2018 and became board certified in Psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 2019. Following her residency, she worked as an inpatient psychiatrist at the Huntsman Mental Health Institute in Salt Lake City, Utah and served as an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Utah. In 2021 she moved to Dallas, Texas to work in a residential and partial hospitalization treatment center for eating disorders. She loves to incorporate psychotherapeutic techniques and goal setting together with medication management to help patients achieve wellness and fulfillment in their lives.

Dr. Mott enjoys treating a wide variety of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, OCD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, eating disorders and substance use disorders. His comprehensive approach integrates both disciplines, allowing him to address mental health concerns with a deep understanding of their medical and psychological aspects.

Dr. Weber earned his Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and pursued advanced training at Walter Reed Army Medical Center, Harvard University, and Georgetown University Medical Center. He is Board-Certified in General Psychiatry and Fellowship-Trained in Forensic Psychiatry and Occupational Medicine, equipping him with the expertise to diagnose and treat a broad spectrum of mental health conditions, considering both medical and psychiatric factors.

Dr. Scott Masters is a Board-Certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst with over 30 years' experience in medication management and therapy. He is living in Hawaii after a 20-year training and working in New York City.

Dr. Masters offers an integration of medication management and various psychotherapy. In an initial visit, patients can expect a thorough, collaborative discussion with shared decision making to understand their symptoms, life goals, and clinical needs. Dr. Masters will evaluate the patient's condition to determine appropriate medication interventions and discuss personalized treatment recommendations including integrated psychotherapy.  Typical follow-up visits are approximately 20-30 minutes in length. Dr. Sujith Maracheril is a board-eligible psychiatrist who provides comprehensive patient care while building a physician-patient relationship centered on communication, empathy, and respect. His primary focus is medication management, and he also provides supportive psychotherapy to help patients work toward long-term improvements. While aligning treatment toward patient goals, he takes a practical approach to changes that can be made to empower patients in their lives. Dr. Maracheril is a graduate of the Sophie Davis Biomedical Education Program at the CUNY School of Medicine, a 7-year BS/MD program. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at the Zucker School of Medicine/Northwell Health at Mather Hospital. He has trained in many settings including inpatient psychiatric units, general and specialized outpatient clinics, and at a partial hospitalization program. Dr. Maracheril has experience treating a broad range of mental health conditions including depressive disorders, bipolar disorder, anxiety disorders, ADHD, and OCD. He understands that people may experience these conditions in different ways, and he aims to treat each patient in an individualized and holistic way.

Dr. Caleb Cheatham is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed his undergraduate studies at Stetson University in DeLand, FL, before earning his medical degree and completing his psychiatry residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He brings a strong foundation in psychopharmacology and a deep commitment to person-centered care.

Dr. Cheatham takes an open, nonjudgmental approach and strives to create a safe space for patients to share vulnerably. He believes in leading with compassion and listening as a core tool for understanding. Dr. Nora Feldpausch earned her medical degree with AOA honors from Michigan State University and completed a general psychiatry residency there, with a focus on psychotherapy and medication management for adults 18 and older. She has been board certified in General Adult Psychiatry since 2012. Dr. Feldpausch has extensive experience working with college and transitional-age young adults, including nine years at Colorado State University Health Network and work with Michigan State University CAPS. She serves as an advisor on telehealth and college and graduate student health for the American Psychiatric Association and as Secretary for the Association for College Psychiatry. She also supports rural mental health initiatives and has lived and worked in rural Colorado for over 12 years.

Dr. Feldpausch views psychiatric care as a collaborative partnership grounded in trust, mutual respect, and open communication. She prioritizes listening carefully to each patient’s experiences and values to develop an accurate, evidence-based diagnosis and treatment plan. While experienced in medication management, she emphasizes balancing psychotherapy, nutrition, exercise, and medication to support long-term wellness and minimize side effects.

Dr. Feldpausch uses initial sessions to gather a thorough psychiatric, medical, and family history, review prior treatments, and clarify patient goals. She incorporates relevant biological data, such as vitals and labs, to guide care. Dr. Farias is a board-certified physician in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, and ADHD. Dr. Farias graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued her medical education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, earning her Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Farias completed a three-year psychiatric residency at TTUHSC, followed by fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry. She completed her first year of fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and her second year at TTUHSC. With a diverse clinical background, Dr. Farias has gained experience in a variety of settings, including academic psychiatry, consult liaison psychiatry, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), emergency psychiatry, and outpatient psychiatry. Dr. Michael Gravenstein earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine, where he also completed his psychiatry residency. McElroy Psychotherapy Award, and the John “J.D.” Dorian Award for best sense of humor. Dr. Mary Stephenson is a board-certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with more than 25 years of clinical experience working with this population. Dr. Stephenson's practice focuses on medication management. She believes that the support and involvement of the family are an integral part of the treatment of the client. Additionally, more therapy support may be needed on occasion, and the recommendation to bring a psychotherapist on the care team may occur to provide an optimal outcome. She received her medical degree from Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine, and her child and adolescent training at the Bingham Child Guidance Center, also part of the University of Louisville, in Louisville, Kentucky. After completion of her training, she moved to Colorado where she worked at The Cleo Wallace Center, in Westminster, CO, providing care for hospitalized youth, and clients in the Day Treatment and Residential setting. In 2000, Dr. Stephenson became the primary Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist on the outpatient team at Denver Health Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Her role was providing diagnostic evaluations, and medication management in Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and the hospital clinic, working closely with residents, child fellows, and other trainees. She had an academic appointment through the University of Colorado School of Medicine. She treated a varied demographic and had a wide range of diagnoses in the child and adolescent population. From 2016-2021, she worked at Intermountain Health Center in Tucson, AZ providing care in the outpatient setting of the community mental health center. The care was a hybrid model of "in-person” and Telehealth treatment of children and adolescents with various disorders, with an emphasis on diagnostic evaluations of Autism and Autism spectrum disorders.‍

Dr. Amanda Carrera-Alvarez is double board-certified in Psychiatry and Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. She received her medical degree from Universidad Central del Caribe in Puerto Rico, completed a 1-year Internship in Internal Medicine at the Ramon Ruiz Arnau University Hospital in PR, and went on to complete Residency in Psychiatry at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center in the Bronx. Dr. Carrera-Alvarez then completed a 1-year Fellowship in Consultation Liaison at St. Luke's and Roosevelt Medical Centers in New York City, further acquiring proficiency in caring for patients with complex medical and psychiatric comorbidities. After completing training, Dr. Carrera worked briefly as a Psychiatric Consultant for patients admitted to medical units and as an Electroconvulsive Therapy Psychiatrist to patients in the Inpatient Psychiatric Units, in Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn. During this time and through training, she worked part-time/moonlighted in the Margaret Cochran Corbin VA Campus located on NYC and eventually moved to work there permanently in the roles of Outpatient Psychiatrist, Consultant Psychiatrist to outpatient medical specialties, and ECT Psychiatrist. More recently she held the position of Acting Program Manager and Outpatient Psychiatrist to the VA Mayagüez Outpatient Clinic in Puerto Rico. Dr. Brennan has experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings, supervising residents and mid-level practitioners, and working in emergency and inpatient facilities. After completing her medical training at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Michigan, she moved to Boston for her psychiatry residency at Harvard South Shore. During her time there, she served as the Chief of Wellness and published within this domain. In addition to her psychiatric training, she developed a strong interest in psychotherapy and trained at the Boston Psychoanalytic Society and Institute as a fellow.‍

Dr. Harmeeta Singh was born and raised in St. Louis, MO and is board certified with ABPN (American Board of Psychiatry & Neurology). Dr. Singh has been in practice for 15 years and focuses on an individualized treatment plan, not only using pharmacotherapy when needed, but also implementing insight-oriented, supportive, motivational, and brief psychotherapy. Dr. Singh is a firm believer in combining psychotherapy with medication management when warranted to manage and treat a wide variety of mental health conditions including, but not limited to - Depressive Disorders, Bipolar Disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Trauma related disorders, Substance use disorders, Personality disorders, Sleep Disorders and Eating Disorders. Dr. Ritchie is trained in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, and ADHD.  He received his bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in French, from The University of Central Florida. Dr. Ritchie completed medical school at Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine. Following medical school, he completed General psychiatry residency and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Embracing principles of holistic medicine, Dr. Shay completed her medical degree at Midwestern University/Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and her residency in general psychiatry at Loyola University Medical Center in the bio-psycho-social model of care. Her broad range of training in university, VA, and state hospital settings and significant life and work experiences prepared Dr. Shay to practice across the diagnostic spectrum. She especially enjoys helping patients with disorders of adjustment, anxiety, attention, mood, and sleep. In her practice, Dr. Shay utilizes medication management along with collaboration, education, motivational interviewing, and other brief psychotherapy interventions during 30-minute follow-up visits to support her patients in achieving their health and wellness goals. Dr. Nicholas Sahagian is a Psychiatrist in Colorado who has been practicing since 2023. He completed his MD and Adult Psychiatry Residency at the Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University and earned his BA in Neuroscience at Skidmore College. Dr. Sahagian has experience managing a broad array of complex psychiatric diagnoses in patients of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, and clinical backgrounds. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, biking, skiing, playing guitar, reading, and collecting board games.

Dr. Angela Shields is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 10 years of experience. Dr. Shields' clinical expertise includes treating adults with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and substance abuse. Dr. Shields' greatest passion is bringing healing and hope to those experiencing stress in their lives. Dr. Shields takes an evidence-based, whole health approach to patient care and believes in meeting you "where you are” on your road to recovery. Dr. Shields will welcome you with empathy and sincerity combined with a direct approach to treatment. Dr. Shields grew up in Gulf Breeze, FL. She obtained her Bachelor of Science from Cornell University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. She then completed the Medical Scientist Training Program at Vanderbilt Medical School, earning both her MD and her Ph.D. in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics. Her Ph.D. research focused on stress and its role in relapse to addiction. Following a four-year residency in Psychiatry at Vanderbilt Medical Center, Dr. Shields became board certified in both General Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Shields lives in Nashville, TN. She enjoys hiking, cycling, reading, puzzles, and travel.

Dr. Mikayel Currim is a Staff Psychiatrist for Talkiatry. Previously, he was the Medical Director and Attending Psychiatrist for the 509th Medical Group at Whiteman Air Force Base, where he was an Active-Duty Medical Corps officer and separated at the rank of Major. Prior to that, Dr. Currim completed medical school and residency at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stanford University.‍Dr. Currim has a passion for treating a variety of mental health disorders in varied populations, including PTSD, ADHD, Major Depressive Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Gender Dysphoria, among many others. He has a friendly, nonjudgmental, casual style, and utilizes a combination of medication management, motivational interviewing, supportive therapy, and a psychodynamic approach to patient conceptualization.

Dr. Hill is a recent graduate of the psychiatry residency program at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. During her residency, she sought out additional training in psychodynamic therapy and EMDR. She participated in the Psych Scholars track, which provided in-depth education and supervision around therapy and psychoanalytic theory. This allows her to better understand the role of both medication and therapy, to utilize, when to couple them, and what limitations they may have. She has additional interests in trauma work; women's mental health, specifically in the peripartum period; and in working with individuals facing progressive diseases or terminal diagnoses.‍

Dr. Diane Papke holds the position of staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry. After graduating from medical school, she completed internship year in Internal Medicine at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix, AZ, followed by two years of neurology residency at Barrow Neurological Institute before completing Psychiatric residency at Maricopa Medical Center in 2005. She then spent the majority of her time caring for SMI/seriously mentally ill patients with a mantra "propelling people forward to wellness.” Working on the supportive level of care for this population honed her skills to care for the highest level of outpatient care through ACT/assertive community treatment. She has a genuine interest in treating psychiatric disorders including anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and most specifically bipolar. She has experience treating medical comorbidities including neurologic disorders. In 2023, she extended her expertise and skills to the general population to include telehealth management of her patients. With a nonsense approach, she prides herself on collaborating with patients to attain their goals of optimum psychiatric health, believing that the cornerstone of a healthy partnership with any patient is a holistic approach. Listening with an open mind and heart while collaborating with her patients to provide the correct medication management and supportive care has always been the key for her. Dr. Amanda Kerr is a board-certified Psychiatrist. Her practice focuses on medication management, though she passionately believes in a holistic approach. She attended Boston University for her undergraduate studies and Loyola Marymount University for graduate school. She then completed her training at Midwestern University Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine for medical school and Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine for residency, where she was selected to serve as Chief Resident during her final year. After completion of her residency in 2016, she dedicated seven years to serving a wide range of patients in a community mental health setting, both in-person and via telepsychiatry. She also serves as a provider at an Intensive Outpatient Program. She has experience treating patients with depressive and bipolar disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and OCD. She also has extensive teaching experience in various settings. Dr. Kerr has a gentle and approachable style when providing medication management in conjunction with supportive psychotherapy, and at times Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques to more fully address each individual's needs. She utilizes mindfulness approaches as well, which she finds personally meaningful in her practices of meditation and yoga. Dr. Luis Espinosa holds the position of adult psychiatrist with Talkiatry. His practice focuses on medication management, and typically offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Dr. Espinosa’s approach is holistic. Each patient’s care is driven by their unique goals and values, whether they suffer from depression, anxiety, trauma, and stress related, or obsessive-compulsive disorders.

Dr. Espinosa believes in serving patients by combining therapy with medication to provide an experience that is both therapeutic and informative and allows patients to guide their own outcomes in a supportive space.  

Dr. Espinosa completed his undergraduate studies in philosophy at the University of Florida as the 2013 Ellen Haring Award winner. He was then honored as a Docherty Foundation Scholar to attend the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. He pursued his specialty training in psychiatry at Kaiser Permanente Northern California.

Dr. Lourdes J Chahin is a bilingual (Spanish) Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist. She completed her adult residency at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center, and her Child & Adolescent Psychiatry Fellowship at Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She has over 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, phobias, bipolar mood disorder, and many other psychiatric conditions. Dr. Chahin has practiced in various settings over her career: outpatient private practice, community mental health, Nurse Practitioners and medical student supervision, partial hospitalization and dual diagnosis rehabilitation programs. She is licensed in the states of New York, Florida, and Georgia. She also volunteers at the largest free clinic in Florida, helping uninsured children, teenagers, and families who cannot otherwise afford mental health care. She enjoys writing medical poetry, and her poems have been published in the AACAP journal. Dr. Chahin is very passionate about what she does and she loves making a difference in people's lives. It is her philosophy to consider patients and their families as unique, taking the time to listen carefully to all of their concerns, building trust gradually and offering medications only when absolutely necessary. In addition to psychopharmacology, she uses psycho education, cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, supportive, and mindfulness-based therapies.

Dr. Kristina Kurtz is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who graduated from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. She completed a Transitional Internship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital Oakland in Pontiac, Michigan, and Psychiatry Residency training at Henry Ford Health System in Detroit, Michigan. During her residency training, she held multiple professional leadership positions, including ethics committee consultant, associate chief resident, and chief resident. She has experience developing residency curriculum, and teaching psychiatry residents and medical students. Prior to relocating to Colorado Springs, Dr. Kurtz served as the Adult Inpatient Service Chief at Henry Ford Kingswood Hospital. Dr. Keri Lemmond is a board-certified adult psychiatrist with over 25 years of experience. Her practice focuses on medication management and ongoing supportive therapy during a 30-minute follow-up visit. Dr. Lemmond is a graduate of the Texas A&M Health Science Center and completed her residency training in adult psychiatry at Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. She previously held a faculty position with the University of Colorado School of Medicine and was a staff member at the Colorado State University Health Network. ‍In addition to her work with young adults in the college setting, she has had additional experience working with adults with co-occurring ADHD, substance use, PTSD, OCD, and premenstrual dysphoric disorder. Dr. Lemmond has been recognized for her approachable, empathic style when meeting individuals for the first time and throughout their work together. When necessary, she will recommend specific therapy modalities with a collaborating therapist for the best outcome. In her free time, Dr. Lemmond enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and gardening.

Dr. Helms is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his General Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent fellowship training at the University of Texas, Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has over 25 years of experience as a psychiatrist treating patients of all ages (child, adolescent, and adult�including geriatric) while working in a multitude of treatment settings including outpatient clinics and psychiatric hospitals. He also has several years of experience working as a psychiatric consultant for medical-surgical hospitals, seeing an extensive variety of patients on all floors of the hospital from mother-baby to pediatrics, as well as adult patients on the medical and surgical floors. Dr. Helms takes with him into each patient encounter, his wide breadth of experience and his genuine care and concern for each and every individual patient. He provides both medication treatment and talk therapy. He understands that many patients greatly benefit from either short or long term medication treatment; however, he also understands that talk therapy can oftentimes lead to significant, long lasting positive change, personal growth, and improvements in occupational and relationship success. Moreover, patients will always find Dr. Helms encouraging and supportive as they search for greater meaning and purpose in their lives.

Dr. Lyman is a board-certified psychiatrist who values the lived experience of every individual seeking treatment. She completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University, received her MPH from University of Hawai'i, Manoa and graduated with her MD from the John A. Burns School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in Psychiatry at the Queens Medical Center, where she served as chief resident. She is currently pursuing a nutritional psychiatry certificate through the Integrative Psychiatry Institute and has a particular interest in the connection between the food we consume and our emotional well-being.

While her practice focuses on medication management, she often takes the time to provide supportive, cognitive or dialectical based therapy in a follow-up visit. She believes that achieving mental wellness extends beyond addressing one's symptoms and hopes to guide her patients towards feeling aware and empowered. She has experience treating depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, bipolar as well as other conditions.

Dr. Tiffany Chu earned her medical degree from the University of Southern California and completed her psychiatry residency at the Medical Center of Aurora. She has experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

Dr. Chu takes a holistic approach to psychiatry, aiming to promote long-term wellness and address root causes. Along with medication and psychotherapy, she may explore diet, nutrition, lifestyle factors, and integrative therapies. She strives to create a warm, supportive environment where patients feel truly heard.

Dr. Chu values shared decision-making. She listens carefully to patients’ concerns and goals and collaborates with them to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs.

Dr. Holly Greenfield attended medical school at New York Medical College. She went on to do an internal medicine internship at Tulane followed by Psychiatry residency at Beth Israel Medical Center. She has been a board-certified psychiatrist for more than 30 years. She has experience in inpatient psychiatry, outpatient psychiatry, and Consult Liaison Psychiatry. ‍She has worked in a private freestanding psychiatric hospital in Connecticut as well as the state hospital in Colorado. She has been the Medical Director for Jefferson Center for Mental Health in Colorado. She has been on faculty at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, teaching medical students and residents. As she has always had a passion for the psychiatric/ medical interface, for the past 8 years she has been working with medically ill patients, including organ transplant patients, bone marrow transplant patients, labor and delivery patients. She is comfortable seeing outpatients with medical issues. She has an approachable style; she uses supportive therapy, solution-focused therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy as well as medication management.

Dr. Bemporad is a board-certified psychiatrist. His current practice focuses on medication management and supportive therapy. He completed his undergraduate training at Stony Brook University, then attended medical school at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine in New York City. He completed his psychiatry residency at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where he was a chief resident. Dr. Bemporad began his inpatient and forensic psychiatry career for the State of Montana for several years. There, he became the medical staff president and a member of the medical executive committee. He was also a preceptor to nurse practitioners and pharmacy students on campus, and he enjoys teaching. Dr. Bemporad has experience treating many clients in many varied treatment settings. On an outpatient basis, he has experience with an extensive array of psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, and bipolar disorders. Dr. Bemporad's approach to treatment is individualized, and in open discussion with his clients. He also believes in a holistic approach -- that mental and physical health are linked.

Dr. Denham is board-certified in adult psychiatry and has 25 years of experience with depression and anxiety disorders, PTSD, substance use disorders, dementia, traumatic brain injury, mental symptoms associated with medical conditions, family care, and end-of-life treatment. Dr. Denham's practice combines medication management with functional and integrative medicine principles, combined with supportive therapy in 30-45 minute follow up visits. She strongly encourages her patients to continue learning about foundational health and wellness and can provide resources for obtaining quality information. Dr. Denham completed her medical education at the University of Arizona in Tucson and her residency training at Maricopa Medical Center in Phoenix, Arizona. She has worked in inpatient settings in both Arizona and New York, as well as with a large hospice in Arizona. Most recently she worked with veterans at the Phoenix VA Medical Center before leaving to focus on telehealth practice. Dr. Denham's lifelong interest in integrative medicine has led her to focus on functional psychiatry in her current practice, in which the effects of medication are strengthened with nutrition guidance, natural supplementation, lifestyle interventions, and supportive therapy.

Her qualifications include a B.A. in biology from Harvard University and an M.D. from Tufts School of Medicine. She completed psychiatry residencies at Mt. Her four decades of practice have exposed her to an eclectic range of cultures, ethnicities, and pathologies in a wide variety of settings, from solo practice to regional medical centers to academic institutions. Her breadth and depth of clinical and life experience have helped her transcend cultural biases and institutional conventions and to more clearly see each patient as a uniquely complex and lovable individual.

Dr. Solomon takes a compassionate, individualized, and pragmatic approach to treatment, beginning in the first visit with a full history and discussion with the patient of their symptoms, challenges, and goals. Follow‑up visits are tailored to the patient’s evolving needs and combine shared insights and tools such as medications and behavioral practices to support them as she guides them on their unique journey toward their best life, on their terms.

Dr. Alicia Garcete is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in practice for over 12 years. Her practice focuses on medication management, recognizing  family involvement is extremely important and is an integral part of treatment. Dr Garcete has treated a wide variety of patients. Her primary focus is treating depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD and OCD. Additionally, she can provide supportive therapy and elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy but on occasions more therapy support may be needed, and the recommendation to bring a psychotherapist on the care team may occur to provide an optimal outcome. Dr. Garcete is bilingual and provides care in both Spanish and English.

Prior to Talkiatry, Dr Garcete treated children, adolescents, and adults was at the intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization levels of care with focus on behavioral approaches in the Depression recovery and Anxiety/OCD programs.

Dr. Garcete earned her Medical Degree from the Universidad Nacional de Asuncion, Facultad de Ciencias Medicas in Paraguay. She completed her general psychiatrist residency at Maimonides Medical Center in New York. She was also a Fellow in Psychoanalysis at the Psychoanalytic Institute, Affiliate to New York University School of Medicine, and completed her child and adolescent psychiatrist fellowship at Elmhurst Hospital Center, affiliate to Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Garcete also held a clinical assistant professor appointment from the department of psychiatry at SUNY Downstate Medical Center.

Dr Lybrook attended Indiana University for her undergraduate and medical degrees and has been a board-certified practicing psychiatrist since 1993. She has work experience in community mental health, hospital settings, and student health, but spent the majority of her career in private practice treating adult patients with a range of psychiatric disorders. Her particular areas of expertise include the spectrum of depressive and anxiety disorders, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and Attention Deficit disorders. She has a passion for education and 25 years of teaching experience with Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr Lybrook values a collaborative approach to patient care. She enjoys learning about her patients' lives, their strengths and challenges, and obtaining a comprehensive assessment to best inform treatment options. She is comfortable working with those hesitant or ambivalent about medication and is happy to provide information that allows the patient to arrive at what feels right for them. While focusing on mental health, she understands the mutual interdependence of physical and mental well-being and encourages lifestyle modifications to optimize both, while providing supportive care.

Dr. Garrick Gaffney is board certified in psychiatry by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN). He earned his medical degree from Kansas City University and completed his psychiatry residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas. A combat veteran, he served in the U.S. Marine Corps, including a tour in Iraq, and was honored with the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and a Certificate of Commendation for exemplary leadership.

During medical school, Dr. Gaffney pursued advanced training as an Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine fellow. As a resident, he served as Chief Academic Resident and earned accolades such as Intern of the Year and Outstanding Educator of the Year twice consecutively.

Dr. Gaffney specializes in treating complex psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, OCD, bipolar disorder, and insomnia. He has presented case studies and quality improvement projects at national conferences, including the American Psychiatric Association (APA), Academy of Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry, and Association for Academic Psychiatry.

A proponent of holistic care, Dr. Gaffney integrates psychotherapy into medication management and emphasizes lifestyle modifications and evidence‑based integrative medicine.

New patients receive comprehensive evaluations to rule out medical causes of symptoms, followed by tailored treatment plans combining therapy, medication, and lifestyle adjustments. Dr. Cheryl Dasler is a double board certified psychiatrist in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Following completion of her training, she spent the next 10 years fulfilling her passion for indigent care of children, working in a community mental health center. She went on to complete additional training in Functional Medicine, with the goal of offering patients greater insight into the physical factors contributing to their symptoms. She has also trained in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction, and encourages mindfulness as a healing technique along with medication management. Over the following 10 years, Dr. Dasler treated a broad range of patients in a private practice setting, including children and adults. She is passionate about treating ADHD, and utilizes medications plus skill building in her sessions to help her patients maximize their potential. Her extensive experience also includes treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, PTSD, and OCD. She believes in a mind-body interconnection, and strives to address both aspects to provide truly holistic care. Dr. Gary Sean Escola is a board certified psychiatrist and a computational neuroscientist. Previously, Dr. Escola was an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Columbia University. As a member of the Columbia Doctors faculty practice, he saw adults with depression, anxiety, ADHD, OCD, and other psychiatric conditions. His preferred practice type is to combine supportive or psychodynamic psychotherapy with medication management (when needed). Dr. Escola also has experience working as an inpatient and emergency room psychiatrist. As a member of the Center for Theoretical Neuroscience, Dr. Escola's lab developed computational models of: (i) motor learning and control, (ii) the development of psychopathology (e.g., OCD and schizophrenia) through disordered learning in subcortical systems, and (iii) neural network dynamics and representations. Dr. Escola is also an entrepreneur, founding multiple neuroscience-based companies. He received his BA and MS in Computer Science, his PhD in computational neuroscience, his MD, and his residency in psychiatry, all at Columbia.

Brian Greer M.D. completed 5 years undergraduate pre-med Magna Cum Laude at the University of Miami, 5 years of Medical School at the Miller School of Medicine in Miami, 3 years of Adult Psychiatry Residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital, and a two year fellowship in Child/ Adolescent Psychiatry at JMH in Miami, the final year he was selected Chief Fellow, and won the " Clinical Scholar Award ". Dr.Greer then became unit director of child/adolescent psychiatry at Charter Hospital in Tampa, and then medical director of the Renfrew Center for Eating Disorders in Coconut Creek, Florida. He then developed the Center for Family Development in Boca Raton, a fee-for-service Concierge practice for all ages. He was also the medical director of Caron/ Renaissance Addiction Treatment Center in Boca Raton, as well as the medical director of J.A.F.C.O: Jewish Adoptions and Foster Care Options. Dr Greer is Board Certified in both Adult and Child/ Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Michael Heneghan earned his medical degree from Cardiff University in Wales, United Kingdom, and practiced in both inpatient and outpatient settings in the UK and Australia before moving to the United States. He completed his psychiatry residency at Tufts Medical Center in Boston and a fellowship in forensic psychiatry at the University of Colorado. Dr. Blanca Osorio-Candelaria is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and has been practicing for over 16 years.
