Krithika Nanda Mittakanti, MD

Dr. Krithika Mittakanti is a board-certified psychiatrist with experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She completed her psychiatry residency at Baylor College of Medicine Menninger Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Houston, TX. Dr. Mittakanti previously served as a Staff Psychiatrist at the Michael E. DeBakey Veterans Affairs Medical Center for over seven years, where she evaluated and treated veterans with a wide range of psychiatric conditions including depression, anxiety and panic disorders, PTSD, bipolar-related disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders.

Krishna Divadeenam, MD

Dr. Krishna Divadeenam is a staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry. He trained in New York and earned his medical degree from Albany Medical College in 1997.  He finished his internship at Vanderbilt Medical Center and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center in 2000. During his residency, he served as Chief Resident at the Kansas City VA Medical Center (KCVA).  His initial post-residency focus was with patients with serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI) when he worked at the Johnson County Mental Health Center.  He has served as a adjunct professor at the University of Kansas providing clinical supervision to residents and yearly lectures on Bipolar disorder, Tourette’s and Obsessive compulsive disorder for over 20 years.  He worked at Midwest Psychiatric associates in an outpatient private practice for nearly 3 years before returning to the KCVA.  There he oversaw care for combat veterans as a clinical psychiatrist and the supervisor for the PTSD Specialty outpatient clinic.  After 5 years he transitioned to the inpatient unit as the inpatient supervisor and one of the attending physicians of the acute inpatient psychiatric unit.  In addition, he served as the University of Kansas Site director for their psychiatric residency program.  

Dr. Divadeenam believes in a holistic approach to mental health treatment, integrating medication management, supportive psychotherapy, and collaboration with therapists and support staff. John Bellavia, MD

Dr. Bellavia is an experienced board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in adult psychiatry. He was a faculty member of the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle for 8 years and has been a medical director and attending psychiatrist in several clinical settings including academic medical centers, outpatient private practice and consultation. Mark Helms, MD

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. Helms is a graduate of the University of Arizona College of Medicine. He completed his General Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent fellowship training at the University of Texas, Health Science Center at San Antonio. He has over 25 years of experience as a psychiatrist treating patients of all ages (child, adolescent, and adult�including geriatric) while working in a multitude of treatment settings including outpatient clinics and psychiatric hospitals. He also has several years of experience working as a psychiatric consultant for medical-surgical hospitals, seeing an extensive variety of patients on all floors of the hospital from mother-baby to pediatrics, as well as adult patients on the medical and surgical floors. Dr. Helms takes with him into each patient encounter, his wide breadth of experience and his genuine care and concern for each and every individual patient. He provides both medication treatment and talk therapy. He understands that many patients greatly benefit from either short or long term medication treatment; however, he also understands that talk therapy can oftentimes lead to significant, long lasting positive change, personal growth, and improvements in occupational and relationship success. Sara Mateo, MD

Dr. Sara Mateo holds the position of staff Psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is a board-eligible adult Psychiatrist. Dr. Mateo completed her Medical degree at the University of Benghazi- Faculty of Medicine and finished General Psychiatry Residency training at Tower Health/DrexelPhoenixville Hospital. Throughout her career, Dr. Mateo has actively contributed to various leadership roles and committees, demonstrating her commitment to advancing medical education and promoting diversity in the field. During her training, she generously shared her knowledge through educational presentations and lectures, fostering the growth of fellow trainees and medical students. Jeaninea Pilar Bare, DO

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. Pilar Bare is an adult psychiatrist who completed her psychiatry residency at TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee, where she served as Chief Resident. She earned her medical degree from Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific Northwest in Oregon, where she studied osteopathic medicine which shaped her holistic view of health. She completed an intern year in Family Medicine at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences West. She holds a bachelor's degree in chemistry and biology from the University of Arkansas, where she graduated with honors.

Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, backpacking, visiting national parks, and spending time with her senior dog.

Dr. Bare believes that each individual's background plays a significant role in their mental health, and understanding a patient's personal story is critical to their healing journey. She believes in a respectful, collaborative relationship built on trust and open communication. While Dr. Bare integrates evidence-based medication management when clinically appropriate, she also emphasizes the therapeutic benefit of addressing lifestyle, relationships, and internal narratives.

Erica Mark, MD

Dr. Erica Mark is a board-certified psychiatrist with experience in both inpatient and outpatient care. She formerly served as a Staff Psychiatrist at a VA Medical Center, where she specialized in the mental health needs of veterans. Dr. Mark earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences, Summa Cum Laude, from Hampton University, received her MD from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and completed her psychiatry residency at Tulane University School of Medicine, serving as Chief Resident in 2017.

Dr. Mark fosters a warm, supportive environment where patients feel heard and respected. She values open communication and works collaboratively to set clear, personalized treatment goals.
