I focus on medication management and supportive psychotherapy. If I feel that additional therapy is needed, I will ask that you bring in a therapist as part of the treatment team. I will work collaboratively with you in a caring environment to assist you in reaching your goals.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist. I received my medical degree from the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, where I also completed my residency and served as a chief resident during my last year of training. I have treated patients with a wide variety of diagnoses both during my residency and after my training, working at a busy private practice clinic as well as for the Veterans Administration.

I have a genuine interest in treating a vast array of psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorders, obsessive compulsive and personality disorders. I also have experience in treating patients with medical comorbidities and have training in issues related to women's health.

I am a board-certified psychiatrist who completed my undergraduate training at Michigan State University, followed by medical school at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine. I completed my residency in psychiatry at Michigan State University. I have worked in many different settings including private hospitals, jails, military treatment facilities, and private practice. I enjoy educating fellow providers who specialize in psychiatry as well as other areas of medicine.

My practice focuses on making progress towards therapeutic goals by utilizing a specifically tailored combination of medication management and psychotherapy depending on any given individual's needs. I understand how difficult it can be to begin seeing a new psychiatrist, and I do my best to create a safe, welcoming environment that patients can feel comfortable in.

I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist based in Las Vegas, NV. Originally a Mississippi native, I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Mississippi, then completed medical school and post-graduate residency training at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

I am trained and experienced in diagnosing and treating various psychiatric disorders including depression, anxiety, psychosis, and bipolar disorder, with a focus on posttraumatic stress disorder, women's mental health, and cultural psychiatry. I combine my clinical expertise with a passion for working with underserved populations and the LGBTQIA+ population to address mental health needs across various communities.

I am a graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine and completed my psychiatry residency training at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, IL. I have experience working in a variety of settings, including as an outpatient psychiatrist at a federally qualified health center (FQHC) and as a correctional psychiatrist at the Washoe County Sheriff's Office in Reno, NV. In addition to my clinical work, I have participated in research and education and have co-authored peer-reviewed articles in the fields of psychiatry and biology.

I specialize in the treatment of various psychiatric conditions including anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and PTSD. I primarily focus on medication management in conjunction with supportive psychotherapy. Using a collaborative and patient-centered approach, I provide personalized care by tailoring treatment to my patients' unique needs. My curiosity and compassionate nature allow me to connect with patients from all walks of life, and I am committed to creating a supportive environment where patients feel comfortable expressing their mental health concerns.

I completed my undergraduate studies in biology at the University of Nevada Las Vegas and earned my medical degree from Touro University Nevada College of Osteopathic Medicine. I went on to complete my psychiatry residency at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, where I was awarded "Master of the PRITE" for achieving the highest score on the Psychiatry Resident In-Training Examination. I have practiced in multiple settings including inpatient psychiatric facilities, outpatient mental health clinics, and the VA system.
