Biography
My style blends Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with talk therapy. I use ACT tools to help clients question and accept their thoughts, manage symptoms in the moment, and find relief from overwhelming feelings. My work is trauma informed, and I provide a safe, supportive space where clients are guided toward their own insights and empowered to navigate past trauma and daily challenges. I begin by exploring family of origin history and current stressors. As therapy progresses, I introduce practical tools for symptom management, incorporating ACT strategies and Attachment Theory assessments to support healthy relationships. Sessions are client led and responsive to what feels most important. I commonly work with PTSD/CPTSD, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, ADHD, and grief.
I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Washington, along with a Bachelor's in Human Services and an Associate's in Criminal Justice. I bring over 25 years of experience across Child Welfare Systems, Department of Corrections, Community Mental Health, and Hospice. I am licensed in Washington and Nevada and hold Clinical Supervision Certifications in both states.
