Biography
I have nearly 20 years of healthcare experience, beginning as an ICU nurse and later working as a Family Nurse Practitioner in outpatient primary care and as a hospitalist in the inpatient setting. I found my greatest passion in caring for patients in the community, which led me to pursue psychiatric mental health care, where I have been for the past five years. I earned my bachelor’s degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills, and dual master’s degrees in nursing from Chamberlain University (FNP) and Maryville University (PMHNP).
I approach care with kindness and empathy, striving to create a warm, supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and understood. I believe in partnering with you and empowering you to take an active role in your mental health care. Most importantly, I want you to feel that you have a trusted partner who listens and works with you toward meaningful, sustainable change.
I begin by getting to know your history, current concerns, and treatment goals. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan based on your needs, preferences, and goals. I regularly evaluate your progress and adjust treatment as needed to support meaningful, sustainable improvement.
