Biography
Chelsea Vargas, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker licensed in Texas and Oregon. She earned her Master of Social Work from Texas State University and has experience providing care in outpatient therapy, inpatient psychiatric care, emergency behavioral health, crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, and substance use treatment settings. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns, and supporting neurodivergent adults.
Chelsea strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel heard, respected, and understood. She values curiosity, honesty, and open communication, and believes therapy is most effective as a collaborative partnership. Her goal is to help patients gain insight, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change while honoring their unique strengths, values, and experiences.
Chelsea begins by taking time to understand each patient’s history, current concerns, strengths, and goals. Together, they develop an individualized treatment plan aligned with what matters most to the patient.
