Biography
My style is friendly, nonjudgmental, and collaborative, allowing clients to express their experiences and develop clear treatment goals. I support individuals managing life transitions or seeking to understand symptoms, focusing on self-awareness, practical skills, and ongoing support. When working with youth, family involvement is integrated as appropriate to align with treatment goals. Treatment is guided by each client's goals, allowing them to shape the pace and focus of therapy. Initial sessions focus on building a solid therapeutic foundation, reviewing history, concerns, and previous challenges. Mutual feedback is encouraged throughout the process to ensure strategies are effective, flexible, and responsive to each individual's needs.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience working with children, families, and adults in residential, intensive in-home, school, outpatient, and inpatient settings. I am a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist and Certified Accelerated Resolution Therapist and hold ICISF certification for group and individual crisis intervention. My diverse background informs my compassionate and practical approach to therapy.
