Biography
I am a licensed professional counselor certified by the NBCC, with additional certifications in Telehealth EMDR and as a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider. At Talkiatry, I work as a psychotherapist alongside a licensed psychiatrist in the states of Pennsylvania and New York. My areas of focus span child, adolescent, and adult populations, and I offer modalities including CBT, DBT, Trauma Focused CBT, EMDR, Motivational Interviewing, Problem Solving Therapy, Psychoanalytical Therapies, and Adult ADHD. I am also trained in modalities for specialty groups such as LGBTQ+, Family/Couples Therapy, and Personality Disorders, and I have experience with DID and Depersonalization.
I received my undergraduate and Master's degrees from Gannon University in Erie, PA. My undergraduate majors are Political Science and Psychology, and my Master's is in Community Counseling. I began my career as a therapist at Sarah Reed Children's Center, where I provided individual therapy, family therapy, crisis intervention, and assessments. From there, I moved to Alabama to do administrative work and private practice, and I am now back in Pennsylvania. My work in Pennsylvania and New York focuses on Outpatient Therapy as a Licensed Professional Counselor. My most recent certifications are within the work with Telemedicine for mental health conditions.
