Biography
Brooke Coyne, LMHC, is a licensed mental health clinician with more than 12 years of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, and sleep concerns. She specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and integrates evidence-based approaches including Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, narrative therapy, and solution-focused therapy. Brooke also has advanced training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I) and has facilitated CBT-I treatment groups. She is passionate about helping individuals build practical skills, gain insight, and create meaningful, lasting change.
Brooke strives to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where patients feel comfortable being themselves. Her approach combines compassion and validation with practical strategies tailored to each person's unique needs, strengths, and values. Her goal is to help patients feel empowered, understood, and confident in navigating life's challenges.
Brooke begins by exploring each patient's history, current concerns, strengths, and goals to develop a clear understanding of their needs. Together, they create a personalized treatment plan aligned with the patient's priorities and desired outcomes. Throughout treatment, she uses evidence-based interventions to strengthen coping skills, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build on existing strengths. She regularly reviews progress and adjusts treatment as needed to support meaningful, lasting improvements in emotional well-being.
