Biography
I strive to create a warm, empathic, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe being themselves and sharing openly. I value authenticity in the therapeutic relationship and believe that connection is an important part of the healing process. When appropriate, I incorporate humor to help clients feel more comfortable and grounded during sessions. Through compassion, support, and collaboration, I work to ensure clients feel understood while moving toward meaningful and lasting change.
I begin by creating space for clients to share their story, current concerns, and what they hope to gain from therapy. Early sessions focus on understanding each client's experiences and identifying goals together. I value collaboration and work alongside clients to develop a treatment plan aligned with their needs and priorities. Throughout therapy, goals are revisited and the approach is adjusted as needed to support continued growth and progress.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and hold a Master of Science in Counseling from California State University, Fullerton. During graduate school, I worked closely with the LGBTQIA+ community, building a strong foundation in inclusive and affirming care. I also spent six years in elementary school settings supporting children and families with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. For the past two years, I have provided telehealth therapy to adults navigating stress, life transitions, and relationship concerns. Working across age groups has shaped my collaborative, compassionate approach to therapy.
