Biography
I earned my Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Northridge. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have 8 years of experience providing outpatient mental health services in community mental health, university counseling, private practice, and advocacy settings. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families, treating anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, ADHD, relationship concerns, family challenges, and life transitions using evidence-based approaches including CBT, CPT, ERP, DBT, TF-CBT, SPACE, and mindfulness.
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe to be your authentic self without fear of judgment. I strive to create a warm, supportive space where you feel heard and understood. Together, we'll build on your strengths, develop practical tools, and stay focused on meaningful goals that help you create lasting, positive change.
I begin by getting to know your story, concerns, strengths, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that reflects what matters most to you. I use evidence-based techniques to teach practical coping skills, regularly review your progress, and adjust our approach as your needs evolve. My goal is to support steady, sustainable growth while celebrating each step forward.
