Biography
I create a warm, thoughtful, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel genuinely seen. I tailor therapy to each person's unique needs and goals, balancing empathy with gentle directness, and I partner with clients to build clarity, confidence, and healthier patterns, with particular focus on stress, identity, relationships, and life transitions, empowering them to connect with themselves and their values.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist, Jennifer Arceneaux, LMFT (#90325), with over a decade of experience in private practice and clinical settings. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating mood disorders, anxiety, life transitions, and relationship challenges. Trained in evidence-based and integrative approaches including CBT, trauma-informed care, DBT-informed skills, and family systems therapy, I provide a culturally responsive, collaborative space for growth.
I begin with a comprehensive initial session to understand your background, concerns, and goals, then collaborate to create a personalized treatment plan integrating CBT, strengths-based, and systems-oriented approaches. Sessions focus on insight, pattern recognition, practical coping skills, and solution-focused strategies, with adjustments over time to support lasting change and encourage application of skills between visits.
