Biography
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience providing behavioral health services in outpatient, community mental health, and telehealth settings. I earned my Master of Social Work from California State University, Long Beach, and a graduate degree in Psychology from Walden University. I use evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing, to support adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic illness, relationship challenges, grief, loss, and life transitions.
I use a client-centered, strengths-based approach grounded in cultural sensitivity and respect for the experiences that shape your identity. I strive to create an empathetic, supportive environment where you feel heard and understood. Together, we identify challenges, build on your strengths, establish meaningful goals, and develop coping skills that support positive change.
I begin by building trust and rapport while learning about your history, strengths, concerns, and goals. Together, we develop an individualized treatment plan and identify therapeutic approaches that fit your needs. In ongoing sessions, we collaborate to track progress, address barriers, and build practical coping skills to support meaningful change and improve overall functioning.
