Biography
I am Anquitra Walton, PhD, LPC-S, LPC. I have more than ten years of clinical counseling and mental health experience and hold a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision. I provide care to adults experiencing depression, anxiety, trauma-related concerns, grief, relationship difficulties, and other behavioral health needs.
I provide a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be open about your experiences while also being encouraged toward meaningful change. My style is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I value authenticity, respect, cultural sensitivity, and meeting you where you are.
I tailor treatment to your individual needs using evidence-based approaches such as CBT, EMDR, and Brainspotting. We may work on coping skills, unhelpful thought patterns, difficult experiences, boundaries, confidence, and emotional well-being. I gently challenge you when needed and want you to leave sessions with greater insight and practical tools. For those who desire it, I can integrate Christian faith and biblical principles while respecting your beliefs and preferences.
