Biography
I provide psychotherapy to adults experiencing anxiety disorders, trauma, depressive disorders, and relationship difficulties. I have a special clinical interest in social anxiety disorder and assertiveness training, and I work with individuals who feel stuck in avoidance patterns, self-doubt, or interpersonal stress, helping them address both current symptoms and longstanding emotional patterns impacting daily life. I am trained in EMDR and Accelerated Resolution Therapy for trauma treatment and utilize evidence-based approaches including CBT. I begin with a comprehensive assessment and collaborative goal-setting process, then develop individualized treatment plans, integrating cognitive restructuring, behavioral strategies, exposure-based work, and trauma processing as indicated, emphasizing practical tools, emotional clarity, and lasting improvement.
I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from the University of Hartford in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Simpson University in 2007. I have practiced in outpatient, private practice, in-home family therapy, and residential settings, and I have worked with adults, adolescents, and families in community mental health and group practice environments, supporting diverse individuals across a wide range of needs.
