Biography
Tina Lakatos is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has extensive experience helping individuals recover from trauma, PTSD, traumatic brain injury (TBI), anxiety, depression, grief, loss, and adjustment difficulties. She also supports family members caring for loved ones facing these challenges. Tina uses an eclectic, evidence-based approach tailored to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals.
Tina believes every client brings a unique life story and deserves individualized care. She creates a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard and respected while working toward healing. She draws from evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Client-Centered Therapy, and anger management techniques, selecting interventions that best fit each client's needs.
Tina begins by learning about each client's background, current concerns, and goals. Together, they identify priorities, develop a personalized treatment plan, and discuss the therapeutic approaches that will be used. Through ongoing collaboration, she helps clients build practical skills, overcome challenges, and make meaningful progress toward lasting well-being.
