Tammy Fischer, LCSW
Tammy Fischer, LCSW, has been a social worker in human services for over 25 years, including nearly 10 years as an outpatient therapist. She earned her Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University of IL and is trained in evidence-based modalities including CBT, DBT, and mindfulness. Tammy is trauma-informed and skilled in Theraplay, sand tray, EFT, Motivational Interviewing, and TF-CBT. She has also provided counseling to military families at Fort McCoy, WI.
Tammy brings warmth, empathy, and an open, nonjudgmental approach to every session. She values trust, clear communication, and cultural competency. Tammy believes clients are not broken—they have the ability to empower themselves with the right tools and guidance. She collaborates with patients to set goals and supports them in building skills to navigate life’s challenges.
Using a person-centered approach, Tammy develops rapport and carefully explores each patient’s history, concerns, and goals. She creates individualized treatment plans and a supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and encouraged to grow at their own pace.
