Biography
Dr. Tamoor Ilyas, DO, most recently practiced outpatient adult psychiatry at St. Luke’s University Health Network, treating severe mental illness and substance use. He earned his degree from Rowan-SOM, completed residency at Einstein Medical Center, and a psychoanalytic fellowship in Philadelphia. He also served as a crisis hotline worker and is affiliated with national psychiatric organizations.
Dr. Ilyas emphasizes clear communication and a holistic understanding of each patient. He values inclusivity and has worked extensively with underserved populations, including immigrants, refugees, veterans, and the homeless.
