Biography
Shana Conley, LCSW, earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Georgia State University and her master's degree in social work from Kennesaw State University. She has experience providing care in psychiatric hospitals, outpatient, and telehealth settings, working with individuals in partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs for addictive diseases, psychiatric disorders, and co-occurring conditions.
Shana creates a warm, welcoming environment where patients are viewed as the experts on their own lives. She values open communication, collaboration, genuineness, and empathy, serving as a guide to help patients reach their goals. Every treatment plan is personalized to reflect each patient's unique needs and priorities.
Shana begins with a comprehensive intake assessment to understand symptoms, psychosocial history, presenting concerns, and personal strengths. She develops collaborative, individualized treatment plans based on each patient's goals and monitors progress using standardized measures alongside patients' own reports of their overall functioning.
