Jannise McKamey-Bruell began her career working in the field of education after she completed both a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and a Master of Liberal Arts at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with an emphasis on Psychology, Women's Studies, and Child and Family Studies. After relocating to Georgia, Ms. McKamey-Bruell attended Argosy University where she completed an additional Master of Arts Degree, with honors, in Community Counseling in addition to receiving a Marriage and Family Therapy Certification. Ms. Ortiz began her education later in life at Elgin Community College then continued to acquire her bachelor’s degree from Argosy University with honors. Ms. Ortiz forged ahead and completed her Master’s in Family Counseling at the CACREP accredited graduate school, Northeastern Illinois University. Her training included the externship for Emotion Focused Therapy with Dr. Sue Johnson.

Ms. Ortiz incorporates therapy from a Solution Focused perspective including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness and Attachment theory.  Ms.Ortiz has been trained in Crisis Intervention and Trauma Informed therapy. Her life experience and clientele have spanned all life cycles, races, and medical needs as well as honoring all varieties of human beings. She has also supported clients through medical diagnosis and end of life as well as grief.

Ms. Ortiz brings enthusiasm for each client based on the belief that each person has unique purpose, strengths and abilities on which to draw on. The client's abilities paired with tools and support acquired in therapy will lead each of her clients to a life they choose to enhance.

After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014, Kendrah worked at a non-profit organization that focused on substance abuse and mental health. She worked there from 2014-2021 initially as a substance abuse counselor and later transitioned into a Clinical Director position. Most recently, Kendrah has been serving patients in a private practice mental health therapist role. Kendrah's interests and specialties are Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage and Family, Culture and Diversity, Dual Diagnosis, Meditation and Dating Violence/Abuse. She also has an interest in Self Image/Self-Esteem and Addictive Behaviors with Substance Use and Gambling.

Kenny Londono is a Staff Psychotherapist at Talkiatry and been practicing in the mental health field since 2008. Kenny studied psychology at the University of Central Florida and received his master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. Kenny has worked directly with adults adjusting to life transitions related to medical issues, relationships, work, becoming a parent, and other life cycle changes. Kenny's services address stress management, relational health, effective communication, and conflict resolution.

Kenny fully embraces whole-person care and is passionate about understanding and supporting a client's lifestyle by exploring the six pillars associated with a client's well-being: healthy eating habits, physical activity, stress management, avoidance of risky substances, restorative sleep, and social connection. This passion for lifestyle medicine stems from his personal story of living with a chronic medical condition and overcoming many challenging obstacles.

Over the years, Kenny has enjoyed seeing clients grow in confidence, experience new levels of peace, and start to flourish in their relationships and careers. Kenny is Gottman Level One and Two trained and is a certified relationship educator. Other modalities that Kenny uses includes solution focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness coaching.

Anne Tormos, LCPC, LPC-MHSP, believes that every person has the ability to live a happy, healthy, engaging life, but at times individuals need an objective observer to help uncover what that life looks like. She treats clients ages 15 and up struggling with a variety of challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety, and life transitions. Anne is a National Board-Certified Counselor. She is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the State of Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor � MHSP in the State of Tennessee. Anne earned a BA in Psychology from North Central College and an MS in Clinical Psychology from Benedictine University. She specializes in helping couples rebuild trust after infidelity, strengthen emotional connection, and improve communication. She also supports individuals facing anxiety, burnout, and the emotional impact of chronic illness, guiding them toward healing and resilience

She earned a double major in Psychology and Therapeutic Recreation at the University of St. Francis. Dr. Martinez has extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in individual, family, and group treatment. Her therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapy (CBT) with holistic methods, emphasizing Solution Focused Therapy, Reality Therapy, and Positive Psychology. Barb utilizes a combination of approaches in working with her clients, including person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, solution focused techniques, and a variety of other techniques. She has experience in several different types of treatment settings and treatment modalities in both Ohio and Florida. Barb enjoys working with individuals who also have co-occurring disorders, both mental health and substance use. Barb has experience working with a wide range of age groups and mental health issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, stress management, grief, relationship issues, and a wide range of substance use issues. Dr. Stephane Louis, LMFT, QS, earned a B.S. in Psychology and Biblical Studies from Palm Beach Atlantic University, followed by her M.S. and PhD in Marriage and Family Therapy from Nova Southeastern University. In 2020, she was featured in Forbes for her study of resilience and intersecting identities in queer women of Afro-Caribbean descent. Past roles include bilingual mental health assessor, psychology instructor at Broward College, and Student Counselor at Lynn University. As a therapist, Dr. Louis’ work has given her in-depth insight into how multiple systems and important relationships can influence the course of a person’s life.

As a queer woman of Haitian descent, Dr. Louis explores different ways the intersectionality of culture, family, identity, and sexuality can impact our lives. She is fascinated by stories of vulnerability, always looking for strengths and solutions. She helps people feel safe to be themselves and go from where they are to where they can be.

Nicole Estevez is a licensed mental health counselor in New York and an out-of-state telehealth provider in Florida. She received her Master of Mental Health Counseling from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling (now Alliance University). Nicole has 9 years of experience providing client-centered individual and family therapy services to a wide variety of clients. Nicole has worked in a variety of settings including an outpatient community clinic, in-home family therapy, treating undocumented minors with trauma history, and telehealth. Darlene Browning is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she is licensed in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. She has been a Social Worker since 2001 has an undergraduate degree from John Jay College of Criminal Justice where she completed in 1992 with a B.S. in Science and majored in Criminal Justice. She then started working as a Correction Counselor with the NYC Department Corrections for few years, working with female inmates who had substance abuse problem and adolescence as well. She facilitated treatment recovery groups and psycho education . In 1998, she worked as with the Administration for Children Services while she was pursuing her Master's Degree degree from Hunter College School of Social Work where she graduated in 2001 with her MSW.

For 19 years she worked as a Discharge Planner in the hospital while attending Metropolitan Institute for Mental Health to study in the Adult Psychoanalytic Division, in 2012, Darlene decided to switch gears and began working as Behavorial Health  Care Manager , while starting her own private practice in the mist of the pandemic. Her practice is called " Live the Life you Want ", because she strongly believes that all individuals should live their own lives the way they want to and desire.

In 2022, Darlene  received a two year certificate in Integrated Trauma from the Institute for Contemporary Psychotherapy where she received training in EMDR , Somatic experiencing and  i is currently working obtaining a certification on becoming an  Accelerated Experiential Psychodynamic Psychotherapist  , which is a experiential model that seeks to alleviate patients psychological suffering by helping them process the overwhelming emotions associated with trauma, depression and anxiety.

Stefan is a dedicated, amiable therapist who has worked in a variety of settings with a diverse clientele. His experience ranges from working with children in a school setting with a focus on topics such as anger and self-esteem, to extensive time working with the substance abuse population as well as military veterans. Stefan has received both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Central Florida, and he has been a practicing clinician for six years. At Lower Key Medical Center, she served as an inpatient social worker and the Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) coordinator, where she provided crisis intervention, therapy, and groups. In her role as IOP coordinator, she managed IOP tracks, ensuring patients receive comprehensive psychotherapeutic support via group and individual therapy.

Previously, her work at the Guidance/Care Center molded her expertise in crisis response, relapse prevention, and intensive therapeutic interventions, in various settings. Finally, her work as a Clinical Counselor at the Children’s Home Society, working closely with parents involved in the child welfare system, providing therapy and court-informed treatment recommendations further solidified this knowledge.

Michelle Shya, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) at Talkiatry, has provided care in the field for almost a decade. Working with individuals and families, she has connected and fostered ties with a broad spectrum of clients, including adolescent, adult, and geriatric services. Michelle's practice style centers on providing a safe and understanding space for clients to share, learn, identify, and address their unique therapeutic needs. Bridgette K. Hathaway, LCSW holds the position of clinical therapist at Talkiatry. She is board-certified in clinical social work. She has been practicing for over 5 years. Ms. Hathaway's practice focuses on individual psychotherapy. Typically, she offers this in conjunction with solution-focused motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy, in 60-minute visits. She received her bachelor's degree in liberal arts with a focus in behavioral neurobiology and women's studies from Harpur College at Binghamton University, and her master's degree in social work at the College of Community and Public Affairs at Binghamton University. Additionally, Ms. Hathaway studied abroad in Blantyre, Malawi, Africa, completing an Asset-Based Community Development program promoting social-emotional wellbeing for youth.
