Biography
Serena Brawley is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with more than 20 years of healthcare experience. Before becoming a PMHNP, she worked as a Registered Nurse in inpatient telemetry, medical-surgical, emergency, specialized nursery, outpatient, hospice, and Veterans Affairs (VA) outpatient settings. She earned her Post-Master's Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health from Washburn University in 2022.
Serena takes a collaborative, client-centered approach that is warm, compassionate, and practical. She values clear communication, patient education, and individualized care. Her focus is on accurate diagnosis, thoughtful medication management when appropriate, and behavioral strategies that promote long-term stability and improved quality of life.
