Biography
Judith Johnson is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with more than 30 years of healthcare experience serving patients in Arizona and Kansas. She earned her Family Nurse Practitioner certification from Drake University and completed a post-master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification at the University of Missouri–Columbia Sinclair School of Nursing. She treats adolescents, adults, and older adults with ADHD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, mood disorders, substance use concerns, and other mental health conditions.
Judith's approach is warm, open-minded, and solution-oriented. She believes patients deserve to understand their diagnosis and treatment options, and partners with them to make informed decisions. She combines medication management with evidence-based therapies, including CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Problem-Solving Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy to support lasting progress.
Judith begins by learning about each patient's symptoms, history, and goals. Together, they develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, supportive therapy, and practical strategies for daily life. Her goal is for every patient to leave the first visit feeling heard, informed, and confident about the path forward.
