Stephen Hawk, DO

Dr. Stephen Hawk is a board-certified psychiatrist with 25 years of experience. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences and completed his psychiatry residency at the University of South Florida, Tampa. He has served in private practice and held leadership roles at the Veterans Administration, including Chief of Mental Health at Bay Pines VA. He led the launch of the VA Suicide Prevention 2.0 Telehealth Program and has training in AI in medicine.

Dr. Hawk combines talking therapies, neuromodulation, and modern psychopharmacology in a collaborative and empathic style. He focuses on family dynamics and integrates psychodynamic and biopsychosocial approaches, using creativity and open dialogue to tailor care.

Dr. Bloom is a psychiatrist with over 30 years of clinical experience. She earned her medical degree from the University of Rochester School of Medicine & Dentistry in Rochester, NY, and completed her psychiatry residency at the University of Cincinnati.

Throughout her career, Dr. Bloom has worked in a variety of settings including inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and consultation services, with a focus on the public sector. She has been privileged to treat underserved populations and military veterans and has enjoyed mentoring medical students and psychiatry residents. Dr. Bloom has expertise in treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions, including clinical depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other anxiety disorders.

Dr. Bloom takes a collaborative approach to care, believing that the best outcomes are achieved through a close partnership with her patients. She views them as experts in their own experiences and works with them to combine their insights with her expertise in medication management to minimize suffering. Rebecca Farias, MD

Dr. Farias is a board-certified physician in both adult and child & adolescent psychiatry, with a focus on the diagnosis and treatment of depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma- and stressor-related disorders, and ADHD. Dr. Farias graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Houston, majoring in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. She then pursued her medical education at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, earning her Doctor of Medicine degree. Dr. Farias completed a three-year psychiatric residency at TTUHSC, followed by fellowship training in child and adolescent psychiatry. She completed her first year of fellowship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and her second year at TTUHSC. With a diverse clinical background, Dr. Farias has gained experience in a variety of settings, including academic psychiatry, consult liaison psychiatry, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), partial hospitalization programs (PHP), emergency psychiatry, and outpatient psychiatry. This broad range of experience allows her to provide comprehensive, individualized care to patients at all stages of life. Dr. Farias takes a holistic approach to treatment, incorporating both medication management and psychotherapy. She utilizes principles from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and supportive psychotherapy, recognizing that a combined approach leads to better outcomes for patients.

Mayra Cabrera Dean, MD

Clinical Director, Patient Experience

Dr. Cabrera is a board‐certified psychiatrist with several years of experience working with an ethnically and culturally diverse population in outpatient, inpatient, and psychiatric emergency room settings. Most recently, Dr. Cabrera practiced privately treating adults with a wide range of mental illnesses both in person and via telepsychiatry. Prior to this, she was an attending psychiatrist in the outpatient department and in the Comprehensive Psychiatric Evaluation Center at Mount Sinai Beth Israel where she also served as Associate Training Director of Psychiatric Residency Training. Dr. Cabrera has a strong background in psychopharmacology and supportive and psychodynamic psychotherapy.

Raul Corredor, MD

Staff Psychiatrist

Dr. Corredor is a bilingual psychiatrist, fluent in English and Spanish. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Corredor provides medication management services in combination with some forms of psychotherapy during 30-minute follow-up visits.

Dr. Corredor received his medical degree from Del Rosario University School of Medicine in Bogota, Colombia, where he also completed residency training in Neurology. Dr Corredor obtained his PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Miami investigating mechanisms for neuronal plasticity and survival. He completed his psychiatry internship at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY., and completed his Adult Psychiatry residency training at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital program in Miami, FL.  

Dr. Corredor is a clinician-researcher that has been practicing for more than 30 years in the inpatient and the outpatient setting. He is also faculty at the Florida International University (FIU). His clinical focus has been in treating adults with depression, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, neurocognitive disorder, sleep disorder and ADHD.

Dr Corredor works with his patients to determine the best medication and treatment strategies based on the biological processes underlying psychological illness, trying to promote long term recovery, not just symptom relief. Treatment pursues the promotion of behavioral changes that contribute to better physical and mental wellbeing.

Kendrah Parker, LMHC

After graduating from the University of Northern Iowa in 2014, Kendrah worked at a non-profit organization that focused on substance abuse and mental health. She worked there from 2014-2021 initially as a substance abuse counselor and later transitioned into a Clinical Director position. Most recently, Kendrah has been serving patients in a private practice mental health therapist role. Kendrah's interests and specialties are Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Marriage and Family, Culture and Diversity, Dual Diagnosis, Meditation and Dating Violence/Abuse. She also has an interest in Self Image/Self-Esteem and Addictive Behaviors with Substance Use and Gambling.

Heath Foreman, DO

Dr. Heath Foreman is double board-certified in General Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. He is a Texas native and received his Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology from UTSouthwestern Medical Center in Dallas. His medical degree was earned at the University of North Texas Health Science Center - Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He completed residency and fellowship training at Baylor Scott & White - Texas A&M in Temple and has been practicing since 2015. He served as Medical Director for a community mental health system for 10 years and has experience working with patients who have ADHD, Autism, Intellectual Developmental, Anxiety, Mood and Traumatic Stress Disorders and Psychosis.

Dr. Foreman uses a professional yet conversational style so that patients may feel at ease while developing a comprehensive understanding of the issues at hand. He prefers an educational approach so that patients can gain the knowledge and tools required to achieve improvement.

Dr. Foreman will perform a broad evaluation and work with his patients to create an evidence-based, personalized treatment plan. Subsequent meetings will incorporate medication management as well as psychotherapeutics based on Cognitive Behavioral, Trauma Based and Psychodynamic techniques. He will provide referrals for traditional counseling or testing when appropriate.
