Jessie Gordan, LCSW, earned her Master of Social Work from the NYU Silver School of Social Work in 2020. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience practicing in private practice and community mental health settings. Jenna attended undergraduate school in Amherst, NY , graduate school in Buffalo, NY, and completed internship programs during her time there at both schools. Jenna has worked directly with many different kinds of clients, who have experienced an array of mental health concerns at all levels. Jenna also has experience in working with comorbid disorders that can at times go hand-in-hand such as anxiety & depression, or homelessness & substance use. Jenna has been working in mental and behavioral health for approximately 10 years and continued after being fully licensed, which required 3000 hours of supervised experience as well. As an LMHC , Jenna likes to focus on helping those with anxiety, depression, relationship/employment concerns, and overall transitions of life ( school/work/medical issues/moving stressors etc), which may hinder daily life. Working with Jenna, treatment is tailored to the individual client in order to choose the treatment plan that fits that individual’s personal struggles.

Algion Seals, LMHC

Algion Seals is a LMHC who received his Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. He has worked with families, couples, and individuals of varying ages and focused on grief, LGBTQIA+ related issues, anxiety, depression, as well as mood and personality disorders. Mr. Seals has a person-centered approach to therapy along with incorporating CBT, DBT, Adlerian Theory, and elements of trauma therapy as well as elements of sex therapy.

Scott Andrews, DO

Dr. Andrews is a board-certified psychiatrist who received his medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his psychiatric residency at the University of Texas Health – San Antonio. Since graduating from medical school, Dr. Andrews served in the United States Air Force for over a decade, first as a Flight Surgeon and later as the Medical Director for mental health and substance abuse clinics overseas. In these roles, he provided medical support to Air Force personnel, their family members, and veterans. These invaluable experiences in high-pressure environments strengthened his desire to support the psychological challenges of individuals in a myriad of situations.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Andrews remains active in continuing education, ensuring the latest scientific advancements inform his practice. With a background grounded in medical excellence, military service, and clinical psychiatry, he brings a steady, knowledgeable, and compassionate presence to the healing process.

Alicia Brigham, LPC

Alicia Brigham holds the position of therapist at Talkiatry. Alicia is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Oklahoma with over 10 years of experience. Alicia currently resides in Dallas, TX and graduated from Dallas Baptist University with her Masters in Counseling. Alicia has worked in an inpatient hospital, a nonprofit outpatient clinic, and in private practice settings providing therapy to a variety of populations. Alicia also has experience in advocating for clients to receive care based on medical necessity and treatment efficacy.

Juliet Nichols-Nicolescu, MD

Dr. Juliet Nichols has been a diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2002 and has been practicing psychiatry for over 25 years. While an expert in psychopharmacology, Dr. Nichols has an integrative approach to treatment and she often incorporates psychotherapeutic techniques when appropriate, tailoring every treatment to each patient's individual needs. She completed her Psychiatry residency at Stony Brook-SUNY and Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine. Over the last two decades, Dr. Nichols served as an attending psychiatrist at JT Mather Hospital in Port Jefferson, NY, where she became proficient in delivering stellar psychiatric care in a variety of settings. She specializes in treating adult and geriatric mental illnesses, including: Depression, Anxiety Disorders (eg, OCD, Panic Disorder, GAD, PTSD), ADHD, and Cognitive Disorders in the elderly. Dr. Nichols strives to help her patients gain insights into their inner conflicts, unveil their strengths, accept their limitations, and build their coping skills. Her approach is dynamic, straightforward, and empathic so patients always feel safe, understood, and at ease. She engages the patient to be an active participant in treatment decision-making, creating a strong therapeutic alliance.‍

Lauren Treharn, PMHNP

Lauren is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University in 2020. She has experience treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including depression, anxiety, psychotic disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, and substance use disorders.

Lauren’s approach combines medication management with psychotherapy to create a well-rounded, individualized treatment plan. She takes time to listen to her patients’ concerns, fostering a safe and open environment for dialogue. Her therapeutic methods include supportive therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy. Recognizing that medication alone may not fully address the root causes of distress, she incorporates talk therapy, lifestyle changes, stress management, self-care strategies, supplements, and social health into her care plans.
