Biography
I am a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience in outpatient and pediatric inpatient psychiatry, providing evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and brief psychotherapy for children, adolescents, and adults. I also teach and mentor future psychiatric providers. I earned my MSN in PMHNP from Nova Southeastern University and my BSN from Oakland University, and completed advanced perinatal mental health training.
I create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel heard and respected. I value collaboration, open communication, and shared decision-making. My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, considering biological, psychological, social, and cultural factors. I provide thoughtful, evidence-based care tailored to your goals.
I begin by understanding your history, concerns, lived experience, and goals. Together, we develop an individualized plan that may include medication, supportive psychotherapy, lifestyle strategies, and coordination with other providers. I monitor progress, safety, and side effects closely and adjust treatment as needed. Above all, I believe care is a partnership.
