Biography
I am an ANCC board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 10 years of experience caring for adults in inpatient and outpatient settings. I completed a PMHNP fellowship in FQHC community psychiatry in NYC and earned my MSN from Regis College, BSN from Rhode Island College, and BS in Psychology & Chemistry from the University of Pittsburgh. My clinical focus includes depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, and PTSD.
I provide empathetic, nonjudgmental, goal-oriented, evidence-based medication management and supportive therapy. I value transparency, education, open communication, movement, nutrition, sleep, and stress management, and may integrate meditation, breathwork, mindfulness, music, sound healing, and book recommendations.
I begin with a comprehensive assessment of symptoms and psychiatric, medical, and social history. Using shared decision-making, we create an individualized plan that may include medication, psychoeducation, lifestyle recommendations, brief therapy, labs, and therapy referrals. Follow-ups focus on symptom progress, side effects, medication adjustments, self-care, mindfulness, and supportive or motivational therapy.
