Grant Deedy, MD earned an undergraduate degree from Georgetown University and a medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his psychiatry residency with Prisma Health and the University of South Carolina Greenville School of Medicine. His training included diverse patient populations, a wide range of mental health conditions, and evidence-based therapies including ACT, CBT, SFBT, psychodynamic, and supportive therapy.

Schmidt College of Medicine and holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Molecular & Cell Biology (Neurobiology) and Psychology from UC Berkeley. His training spans inpatient, outpatient, consultation-liaison, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and residential settings, including work with veterans and first responders managing PTSD and substance use.
