Bonnie LaBar, LMHC
Bonnie LaBar, LMHC, is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. She holds a Master of Science in Mental Health from LIU Hudson and a Bachelor’s degree from Ramapo College of New Jersey. Bonnie has experience in outpatient mental health clinics and private practice in Rockland County, working with diverse age groups and concerns.
Bonnie creates a warm, safe, and compassionate space where patients feel heard and supported. She is known for her soft-spoken tone and gentle presence. She treats anxiety, depression, trauma, crisis situations, family concerns, low self-esteem, and daily stressors with empathy and respect.
Bonnie meets each patient where they are, tailoring care to their unique needs. She uses an eclectic approach, most often incorporating CBT, to reduce symptoms and support growth. Her goal is to help patients build coping skills, improve well-being, and achieve meaningful personal goals.
