Biography
I'm a marriage and family therapist, and most of what I see is people navigating the emotional and relational challenges that come up in their lives, whether they're working through things on their own, as a couple, or as a family. I earned my Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliance Graduate School of Counseling in Nyack, New York, and that relational lens shapes how I understand almost everything a person brings to me. Nobody arrives with the exact same story, so I don't treat anyone as though they do.
I care a lot about trust and respect being present from the start, because I don't think real work happens without them. Our first session is mostly about getting a full picture of your background, what's bringing you in, and where you'd like to end up. From there, we build a plan together that actually fits your life rather than a generic version of it. I try to keep things collaborative throughout, checking in as we go and adjusting when something isn't working for you.
What matters to me is that you feel genuinely heard, not processed. I'd rather move at a pace that lets you feel steady than rush toward a milestone that doesn't mean anything to you.
Curious whether the two of us would work well together? That's exactly what a first conversation is for.
