Biography
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and National Certified Counselor (NCC) with more than 14 years of experience providing psychotherapy in outpatient, community mental health, correctional, trauma recovery, and crisis intervention settings. I hold a master’s degree in Community Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix and a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from SUNY Empire State College. I’m EMDR Level II trained, with advanced experience treating trauma and PTSD.
I believe healing begins with understanding the whole person, not just the symptoms. I value authenticity, collaboration, and cultural responsiveness, and I partner with clients to identify meaningful goals and practical strategies for lasting change. I have extensive experience supporting adults, first responders, survivors of trauma, and creatives, entrepreneurs, helping professionals, and leaders navigating burnout, perfectionism, identity, and life transitions.
I begin with a comprehensive assessment of your history, current concerns, strengths, values, and goals. Together, we develop a treatment plan tailored to your needs and vision for healing. I may incorporate storytelling, metaphor, journaling, bibliotherapy, expressive arts, and other experiential approaches to deepen insight and support lasting change.
