Biography
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Oregon and an LPC Supervisor in Texas. I earned my master’s in Rehabilitation Counseling from The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley and my bachelor’s in Rehabilitation Services with a concentration in Addiction Studies. I am also a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP) and a bilingual clinician.
I provide warm, nonjudgmental, individualized care for adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, relationships, trauma, self-esteem, and life transitions. I use CBT, DBT, mindfulness, solution-focused strategies, and trauma-informed care to help you understand your thoughts and patterns, build resilience, develop healthier coping skills, and create meaningful change.
I begin by creating a safe, respectful space where you feel heard and empowered. We build trust at a pace that feels comfortable for you, exploring what brings you to counseling without pressure. I explain confidentiality and your rights, ask questions to understand your needs, and work with you to develop an individualized, supportive treatment plan.
