Biography
I create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients can be fully themselves. My approach is collaborative and practical, helping individuals understand patterns while building tools for daily life. I work with clients facing relationship challenges, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and questions about faith or identity, and I am known for holding space for both emotional healing and deeper reflection on values and meaning.
I begin with an initial session to understand each client's story, challenges, and goals. Together, we develop a personalized plan using approaches like CBT and trauma-informed care. Sessions focus on insight, coping strategies, and healthier relationship patterns. When meaningful, I incorporate spirituality or faith exploration. Progress is reviewed regularly to ensure alignment with client goals.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with over nine years of experience across telehealth, outpatient, school-based, and integrated care settings. I am licensed in Texas and Washington and am a National Certified Counselor. I hold a Master of Arts in Counseling and a Master of Divinity from Wake Forest University. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, trauma-informed care, and measurement-based treatment, with special interests in relationships, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and spirituality. As an ordained minister, I thoughtfully support clients exploring mental health and faith.
