Biography
I trained as a therapist, and I mostly work with people moving through grief, anxiety, depression, the aftereffects of trauma, and the kinds of life transitions that leave you unsure of your footing. That includes adolescents figuring out who they are and how to manage emotions that feel too big, adults sorting through change in the middle of their lives, and older adults facing loss and the shifts that come with getting older. Each of those seasons asks for something a little different, and I try to meet the person in front of me rather than the label.
My work draws on solution-focused and person-centered therapy, along with CBT and DBT, but I don't run every session through the same playbook. A session with me tends to move at the pace you set: some days that means practical tools for emotional regulation, other days it just means talking through what happened and what it's stirred up. I lean toward being honest with you about what I'm noticing, and I'd rather build skills together than hand you a formula. My aim is trauma-informed care that helps you feel steadier, more self-aware, and more resilient over time.
Healing and growth take patience, and I'm glad to walk alongside that process for as long as it takes. If any of this fits what you've been looking for, I'd be happy to talk.
