Biography
Most of my work as a therapist, over the last fifteen years, has been with adolescents and adults navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and the tangle of relationships and co-occurring struggles that rarely come one at a time. I've also spent a lot of time alongside parents raising kids on the Autism Spectrum, which asks its own kind of patience and reworking of expectations. I've practiced across telehealth, community mental health, and integrated care, so I've seen how differently support has to fit depending on where someone is in their life.
I'll start by getting to know your story: what's hard right now, sure, but also what you're good at and where you actually want to be headed. From there we build a plan that lines up with what matters to you, not a generic checklist. My style is both supportive and active. I want you to feel better, and I also want you to walk away with practical tools you can use on a Tuesday afternoon. Depending on the day, a session might involve skill-building, working through emotions, some mindfulness, or slower insight work, and I lean on Motivational Interviewing when change needs to come from you rather than from me pushing. We check on progress as we go and adjust when something isn't landing.
I'm bilingual in English and Spanish, and I offer flexible telehealth so care stays consistent. The first step is just a conversation, and we'll sort out the direction together from there.
