Biography
Jayme is a licensed mental health counselor with approximately 12 years of experience in the mental health field. She has worked with clients of varying demographics in many different clinical settings. Jayme attended graduate school in Buffalo, NY, where she also completed her internships. She continues to learn through attending reading, conferences, and training pertaining to her area of focus. Jayme's clinical focus is working with adults who experience symptoms of depression, anxiety, and trauma, including those who have been impacted by feelings of abandonment, the foster care system/adoption. When working with Jayme, her approach will be tailored to individual needs through collaboration and choosing treatment modalities that best fit the circumstances brought to the therapy space. Jayme uses an eclectic approach and has a foundation in trauma sensitive care, has been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and integrates mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral techniques, and Internal Family Systems (IFS).
