Dr. Danielle Jackson is a board certified Adult Psychiatrist by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She is a graduate of Yale University's Psychiatry Residency and Howard University College of Medicine. Dr. Jackson's practice focuses on a combination of psychopharmacology (medication) and psychotherapy techniques including supportive therapy, motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy. She approaches care from an individualized, patient-centered, collaborative perspective. She often integrates evidence-based lifestyle recommendations in areas such as nutrition, sleep hygiene, exercise, and stress management tools in treatment to help patients achieve their wellness goals. Danielle Lopez, MD

Dr. Danielle Lopez is an Adult Psychiatrist. She received her doctorate of medicine at the University of Southern California, Keck School of Medicine in 2007, where she later completed residency training in 2012 at Los Angeles County Medical Center. Dr. Lopez has extensive experience with high risk and challenging patient populations. Early in her career she engaged in multidisciplinary outreach (FSP) for those experiencing homelessness and severe mental illness or substance use disorders. Later transitioning to inpatient work and rehabilitation of those individuals with severe and persistent mental illnesses, Dr. Lopez gained vast experience in complicated medication regimens, and agility in deescalating psychiatric emergencies. In 2017, Dr. Lopez moved to Santa Barbara, California, where she gained experience in emergency psychiatry, consultation liaison and inpatient psychiatry, working for the county regional trauma center. Inadvertently transitioning to private practice and telehealth due to COVID restrictions in 2020, Dr. Lopez found her niche in outpatient psychiatric treatment of individuals with mood disorders, trauma, anxiety, ADHD, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. Today, she enjoys forging personal connections with her patients, thereby tailoring their medication regimen to suit their individual needs. Education, supportive and motivational therapies, and cognitive behavioral techniques are often employed not only to provide insight and reassurance, but to also impart confidence and skills for patient success. Prior to her medical studies, Dr. Lopez was a high school science teacher and collegiate softball coach. She grew up in Los Angeles and currently resides in Long Beach, California, with her spouse, and English Mastiff named Ella. She enjoys photography, coastal trail walking, and dog training excursions. She and her spouse are avid gardeners; they love to grow and maintain lush succulent and floral gardens.

Raquel Weinum, LCSW

Raquel Weinum is a licensed clinical social worker. Her career in the field has spanned over 20 years and includes work with adults, adolescents, and children from diverse populations and experiences. She has treated a wide range of symptoms and challenges, including but not limited to, depression and other mood disorders, anxiety, chronic stress, trauma, difficulty with relationships, family conflicts, and loss. ‍Her style is warm and engaging. She considers the role of the therapist to be collaborative. As a therapist she aims to create a safe non-judgmental space for self-exploration, discovery, and healing. Irene Pastis, MD

Dr. Irene Pastis is a board-certified psychiatrist who specializes in adult psychiatry.  She completed residency training at East Carolina University in both internal medicine and psychiatry.  After residency, she pursued her passion in psychiatry and stayed on as a clinical assistant professor in the department of psychiatry at East Carolina University.  In this role she specialized in treating adults with mental illness in both the inpatient and outpatient settings.  She has spent a considerable amount of time teaching residents and medical students and has published several papers focusing on the neuroscience pathways of mental health conditions.  In her daily practice, Dr. Pastis focuses on evidence-based treatments utilizing the latest clinical guidelines and current approved treatments.  In addition to medication management, she also incorporates psychotherapy in the treatment of mental health conditions.  Dr. Pastis is passionate about taking a collaborative approach with her patients to help them reach their potential.

Tony Tu, MD

Dr. Tony Tu is a board certified adult psychiatrist who emphasizes patient education and a psychodynamic approach to outpatient psychiatry. His passion for empowering patients with knowledge stems from his academic experience in psychiatry residency training. Dr. Tu is a graduate of the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine where he completed an MD and PhD combined program which helped develop his "doctors as teachers” style of practice. Dr. Tu completed his psychiatry residency training at Loyola University Medical Center in Illinois. Dr. Tu served as an Associate Program Director of Loyola's Psychiatry residency training program for two years, and now maintains an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Psychiatry role with Loyola. Dr. John "Will” Banks is a board-certified psychiatrist who completed his General Psychiatry residency training at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, NY. During his residency training at Stony Brook University Hospital, Dr. Banks was selected by faculty to serve as an administrative chief resident based on his leadership qualities and integrity. He received numerous awards during his residency training including the Excellence in Compassionate Care Award, Academic Achievement Award, and Harold Pass Excellence in Psychotherapy Award. He also served as an Outpatient Senior Resident to help junior residents acclimate to the outpatient treatment setting and telehealth format. Dr. Banks implements an integrative approach to his practice that primarily utilizes medication management and various psychotherapy disciplines such as cognitive-behavioral, supportive, and psychodynamic techniques. While Dr. Banks is trained in a variety of therapeutic fields, he works collaboratively with therapists and may recommend their inclusion as part of your treatment team to provide you with the level of care you deserve.
