Biography
Nicole Benjamin, PsyD, LCSW-R, has more than twenty-five years of experience in the field of social work and mental health. She has worked extensively with underserved and disenfranchised communities, developing a strong clinical understanding of the populations she serves. Trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Nicole provides evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. In addition to her clinical work, she has held leadership and academic roles, including serving as a Clinical Professor at Adelphi University and York College for sixteen years.
Nicole creates a supportive, empowering, and respectful therapeutic environment where patients feel heard and understood. She believes in meeting patients where they are and helping them build insight, resilience, and confidence as they work toward personal growth and emotional well-being.
